Textify v5 — OCR to searchable PDF, with more languages & Siri Shortcuts

Hey, More than two years ago, I launched Textify v1 on PH, and made Product of The Day. 🎉 Today, the v5 is out and it contains so much more than before. It is currently featured by Apple  on the Mac App Store. 🎉 What's new: 🎁 • New recognized languages for OCR. Added: Korean, Ukrainian, Japanese, Russian, Cantonese. There is also: German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, French and Italian. • Automatic language recognition: perfect when your documents might be in different languages • Siri Shortcuts integration • Convert any PDF to a searchable PDF directly from the Finder's Quick Actions menu. This is possible thanks to the Siri Shortcuts • Continuity: Scan/Take photo from your iPhone and the photo appears immediately in Textify • Full macOS integration: for example, you can basically copy/paste and drag&drop any image/PDF file/PDF page/...). Keyboard shortcuts are also there for maximum productivity. Integrates the "Open with..." menu from the Finder. • OCR zones for complex layouts (columns) • App is available in English, German, French, Chinese, Italian, Spanish & Portuguese • ... and so much more (image filters, output file size preview based on the chosen quality/size, ...) I work on this app alone, mostly because I love it, as making money on the Mac App Store is kinda hard. But yes there is still an optional premium version without watermark on the output file. Please do not destroy me for that, I have a family to feed :-). 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All these updates have only been possible thanks to all users incredible feedback. Can't thank you enough for that! 🙏🏻 On a tech side, the app is native, uniquely developed for macOS. Written in Swift using AppKit (no hybrid stuff that makes the UX horrible).
