Recently I have launched an open source PasteBin alternative Web app called TextBin. This is an update to that web app, now users can seamlessly create and get all their encrypted texts from vscode by using the textbin vscode extension.

Hey Sahil, What encryption methods are you using to keep the shared text secure? Do you have any plans to expand to other IDEs or code editors in the future? Congrats on the launch!
Sahil
@kyrylosilin Textbin encrypts the text on the client side and the encrypted text is stored on the server. That's why you'll notice that when you get to a text to see its content you need to decrypt it. I'm using AES-GCM algorithm for the encryption. Yes, I'm planning to build extensions for other ides too including jetbrain's ides and zed editor. If you have anything in mind, then please let me know. Thank you so much for your support and feedback 😊

It might be helpful to add a feature that allows users to set reminders of expiring texts.

@den_taylor that's a great idea, will add that one. Thank you so much for your feedback 😊
