ScreenFlow 10 has a completely new UI — refreshed for macOS Big Sur with a new customizable toolbar, reworked preferences windows, improved timeline track functionality and main menu organization.
Lots of people have problem with Screenflow's pricing model, and I also am not a huge fan... but honestly most major apps have gone in this direction, notably Sketch. I would prefer that they just adopt the Sketch subscription model and be done with it, instead of trying to invent a list of features to compel annual upgrades.
FWIW, I was rocking Screenflow 6.0 for a long time — but finally caved to upgrade for the UI and performance improvements.

@chrismessina This is especially laughable these days when things like Descript now have full editing capability (even though it's pricier in the long run, has better base features and isn't spammy).
I use it all the time for recording lectures. Interesting tho is that when you click on the v10 features in the upgrade screen you end up in Vimeo website
