Tech Audit TV — A price comparison tool for gaming monitors.

👋 Hello Product Hunt community! I'm thrilled to introduce Tech Audit TV—your go-to tool for finding the ideal gaming monitor (and at the best price). Think of it as Trivago, but optimized exclusively for gamers. 🎮 Why Tech Audit TV? Quite frankly, I got sick of bouncing around retailers trying to find the biggest deals on monitors. Even with large price comparison websites, I hated having to skip past paper towel and battery deals to get to the stuff I cared about. I also recognized that shopping for a gaming monitor can be intimidating for "noobs" who are just getting started. So I wanted to create an easy-to-use platform tailored just for us gamers. 🏆 Some of the Awesome Features: Up-to-date Price Aggregation: Instantly find the best deals from multiple online sources, all in one pace. Intelligent Savings Calculations: This tool measures deals based on a monitor's 90-day average selling price, not its (often) inflated MSRP, helping gamers see through deceptive marketing tactics. Market Trends: Price history on a product is nothing new, but this tool gives you insights into how a particular monitor price stacks up against similar products in real-time. Expert Advice: It's more than just a tool, throughout the browsing process you'll find expert advice designed to help gamers make an informed purchase decisions. 🛠️ How I Built It Believe it or not, this was built entirely using no-code tools. I used WeWeb for the frontend and Xano for the backend. The tool constantly pulls price data from various merchant APIs, processes it in the Xano database, and then presents it in an easily digestible format on the frontend. To this day, I still can't write a single line of JavaScript 😅 🚀 What's Next? While the tool is currently gaming monitors, I have plans to expand it into a comprehensive tool that covers all gaming and setup essentials.
