Curious to find out if it is any better than Netflix' mostly useless recommendations ;) can you share a bit of insight on how the previous rounds of funding have been put to use since 2019 (more specifically, what is the split between tech and marketing, trying to better understand the level of organic growth here). Recommendations Just Got A Bit Better: New algorithm now offers 25,000 more titles with a Match% 5. Been using Taste for years and while my usage has fallen off since the pandemic (just for life juggling reasons) it has surfaced some great recommendations and has been really good. The new version has so much of what we users want while also honoring what we already love. Very excited for it! 💛

I've been using Taste for a couple of years and its recommendations are spot-on. You swipe through movies you've seen just like a dating app, and the more you swipe the better the recommendations are. You also check all the channels you have so it only recommends those. It blows away the recommendation engines of individual channels.

I liked the results for the short number of questions it asked. From the movies shown to me, coincidentally most of my responses were positive for the movies that I had seen. Thought that would skew the results, but they were pretty nice, congratulations!

I heard about Taste from a friend, and it's pretty cool how it relies on people with similar tastes to give you personalized recommendations.
