👋 Hello everyone, I'm Eddie, an independent developer from Taiwan currently living in Japan. ❓ Have you ever had this experience: when walking in the city and looking for a coffee shop, Google Maps bombards you with information, and you get stuck in analysis paralysis: ratings, reviews, photos, limited-time events, and so on. And what puzzles me more is: why do I sometimes stand right in front of a store, but can't find any information about it on the map? ✨ Tasmap is a map that belongs to people. Every point on it is a creator's footprint, with no ads, commercial recommendations, or algorithmic sorting. Want to create a local guide and feature your favorite spot on the homepage? Of course. Want to share the secret corners of the city you've lived in for over a decade? Welcome. From themed guides, city exploration, photography spots, local tours, event maps, or storytelling through maps, Tasmap helps you create your own unique map. 🎨 In the past, creating a beautiful interactive map required professional knowledge or was limited by existing platform frameworks. Tasmap has simplified this: a map editor combine a digital notebook, that's it. Tasmap enables everyone to easily create unique maps and share them with more people. 🌱 Tasmap is still growing, and there's room for improvement. But I'd love to hear your thoughts: what would you use it for? What does your ideal map look like? Perhaps you've already envisioned new ways to use maps, or noticed areas where we could improve - join the discussion and share your ideas and suggestions with us. 🎁 We're offering a 50% off lock-in price for our Product Hunt creators in these 2 days, and hope you'll join us in making Tasmap even better. What kind of map would you like to create?
