Amazing! ^_^ Taskable has awesome features, and seems it can be a great magnifier of efficiency! I would love to try it out! *_* Does it have maybe an extension for Chrome? *_*
Matthew Johnson
@maria_brm Hi Maria - we do have a Chrome extension. You can get it here: https://chrome.google.com/websto...
Maria
@mattcrail Great! *__* Thanks a lot for the link, and thank you for the answer Matthew! I will be happy to try it out! ^__^

Hello again Product Hunt πŸ‘‹ and thanks for hunting us @jason :) We are excited to share Taskable 2.0. We think it will be the last time management and task app you'll ever need to try. Taskable is the best way to timeblock your day. We are focused on helping individuals manage the most precious resource: your time. The way Taskable works: πŸ”Œ We integrate with the tools you already use, like Asana, Slack, Gmail, Trello, GitHub, Jira, HubSpot, Google Calendar, and more to bring everything you need to get done into a single view πŸ—“ We make it easy to schedule your top priorities and move things out of your backlog and into a plan of action 🧱 We make timeblocking as simple as drag and drop, so you can put tasks into your calendar all in one app. Productive expert Cal Newport estimates you can get as much as 50% more done with timeblocking versus unstructured time, and Taskable is the fastest and easiest way to timeblock. Since our last launch, we decided to focus on the calendar and the relationship between tasks and time. Our users have been loving it, and we think you will too :)

@jason @mattcrail Matt! This is the big day! Congratulations! πŸŽ‰ I am following your journey; keep it going!

@jason @mattcrail I think integrations are a must have for a good app for tasks. I really like the time-blocked work week, will give it a try! Good luck with the launch!
Matthew Johnson
@jason @samuel_briskar Thanks for the support Sam! Hope all is well
Sam DeBrule
congrats on the launch @mattcrail! what originally inspired you to create Taskable? What did you learn in 1.0 that encouraged you to focus on the calendar and the relationship between tasks and time in 2.0?
Matthew Johnson
@samdebrule great questions, thanks Sam! We started working on Taskable because me and my co-founder had the same problem around context switching and all the tasks and information we needed to get work done spread across multiple tabs, tools, and platforms. So we started out initially very focused on the integrations. However, we found that once we pulled in all these tasks and information, we need to better control how we planned and prioritized what we get done. And lots of our users kept asking us about timeblocking features, which is something I never really tried before we built the feature into Taskable. So we recognized we needed better tools to help people manage their time, and timeblocking is a really great way to do that. Combined with our scheduling workflows and integrations we think we are the best way to timeblock efficiently, and get the most out of that practice.

I would like to introduce you to one of our investments, Taskable, a productivity web-app that helps you stay focused on top priorities. Here’s how it works: 1. Create an account at taskablehq.com 2. Integrate all of your productivity tools (Slack, Asana, Jira, Trello, etc) 3. Their time blocking makes it easy to move your top priorities into your calendar Try it out at https://taskablehq.com

This is AMAZING! I think this is exactly the solution I've been looking for that helps me look at my calendar and my tasks in one place. I had a problem with Trello at first and the team was super quick to help me solve the issue and make it work! Definitely going to be using this now and looking forward to being able to actually realistically timebox and plan to dos for the day!
Matthew Johnson
@britt_joiner I am glad we could get that resolved for you Britanny! Can't wait to your feedback on Taskable πŸ‘

Nice, this is definitely something I had been looking for. Currently using Things 3 + GSuite. @karjula check this out. Congrats on the launch guys! πŸš€
Matthew Johnson
@karjula @vylimaki awesome - let me know if you have any feedback!

You guys are relentless. When is a Linear integration coming? Any tips on timeblocking? I've tried it a couple of times with Google Calendar but I can't get it to work for me.
Matthew Johnson
@davej thanks Dave! Excited for our next desktop update with the new ToDesktop 2.0 features! Linear is on the roadmap - we hope to start adding more integrations in the next few months. And my top tips for timeblocking, besides using Taskable, is making it super simple to add things to your calendar. If you are having to copy and paste stuff from all over into your cal then it gets clunky and it's easy to give up. If everything is in one place then it's easy to get everything you need into the calendar. We have written up quite a few posts on timeblocking here if helpful: https://taskablehq.com/tags/time...

It's hard to stay focused and get things done when you have a million things going on. We live in a world where it seems like we're constantly being asked to do more and more. The never-ending to-do list is always there, nagging at us. A tool like this is much needed. Congratulations @mattcrail & @tkrakowiak on launching Taskable on Product Hunt! πŸš€ I would love to take a look at your app and future versions of the website in more detail and offer you feedback. Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/in/hemantwarier/). I hope we can add value to each other as makers! πŸ™Œ

Awesome progress @mattcrail and Team - you’ve made a massive difference by focusing on calendar and time management πŸ™Œ is a meeting scheduled on the cards?
Matthew Johnson
@may_ireland Hey May - thanks! We have a creating calendar events from Taskable feature on the roadmap. Is that what you're referring to?

Congratulations team on the launch Taskable 2.0
Shreya Singh
Hello! @mattcrail I am quite impressed by your contribution for making scheduling easier and more efficient. I am certainly going to try it.
Kenn Raaf
How soon can we see integration with Outlook? Great product but without outlook integration those of us that work for big corps won’t get the benefits from this awesome tool.
Matthew Johnson
@kenn_raaf Hey Kenn - we hope to get to Outlook in the next quarter. We'd love to add it but we still have a small team and lots of integrations to maintain already. But we definitely want people at enterprises to be able to use Taskable!
Farokh Shahabi
Awesome concept, do you guys support custom data-sources as source of tasks & issues?
Matthew Johnson
@farokh_shahabi Hey Farokh - not at the moment but it's on the roadmap. If you're interested we can discuss your use case and what you're looking for - my email is matt [at] taskablehq.com

Claire Milligan
Hi Taskable team! This release is looking super slick. Love the drag and drop. What's coming up next on your product roadmap?
Matthew Johnson
@claire_milligan Hey Claire! Thanks for the support :) We are staying focused on individual users for the time being. Next up we have an exciting new update to the desktop app where you can add tasks from anywhere with a keyboard shortcut. In addition we are focusing on improving speed of the app so it's lightning quick. Later this year we plan on tackling some team features (driven in large part from your feedback, so many thanks for that!)
Sorin Jurcut
Congrats guys ! :D Best of luck going further. Keeping an eye out to see how this develops and looking forward to a timeline feature / visualisation mode. Still looking for THE management tool. I think you guys definitely head in the right direction
Matthew Johnson
@valiantlyblack thanks Sorin! We have lots to come in that department so keep an eye out πŸ˜‰

As a busy founder, taskable has helped me with prioritization, timeblocking and automating my personal workflow. When you're working with customers and a team, organization is tough but I love how taskable is a place for me and MY priorities. Congrats to the team on their journey & most recent launch! You guys are killing it πŸš€
