Tbh, the app started as a script generator for TikTok videos. It was supposed to be a side project while we were working on AI research related to speech-to-video. However, once we built the prototype, it was obvious that we’d stumbled onto a much bigger, more powerful idea.

I started using Oasis AI the day it came out (tweeted about it here: https://twitter.com/packyM/statu...) and it's been an incredible way to catch those random thoughts that I have throughout the day and begin to turn them into something more substantial. Amazing work.

Have been an early user of this product - literally made a version via Zapier before discovering Oasis which solves my use case 10x better. Love turning my rambling ideas into organized thoughts and see so much potential here. Stoked to see it launch to public access.

Looks like a neat app. Congrats on your launch. I love that the product originally started as a tiktok captions generator and that you stumbled upon a bigger use case. I’m going to include it in my newsletter tomorrow 🙌🏻
Do you have a desktop/web app? I don't understand the appeal of using this on a phone. I'd find editing an essay on a phone really annoying. I don't believe that the output would be good enough to use as is and don't want to try it on my phone.
Those who worked with me, know I like to talk 😊, not because I like hearing myself speak but because people are usually so inspiring and many ideas pour out.
Now in certain instances OASIS comes to the rescue with summarization and idea list generation, capturing a raw uninterrupted flow.

Question: how do the credit subscriptions compare to other paid options? Poe custom bots for example.
Feels like we're moving into the time of dozens of subscriptions like we have with streaming.
@convergeonserge It costs us money to use the 3rd-party APIs that power many of the core features of OASIS, so we introduced a new Credit system to align our customers interests and our own. Our goal is to ensure that we provide customers with exceptional value while still building a sustainable business independent of venture capital subsidies. Here's how it works:
- Each output (blog post, email, etc) you create uses credits
- 1 credit = ~300 words total (transcript + output)
- Longer inputs & outputs use more credits
- New accounts get 30 free credits
- Need more credits? Subscribe
We offer two subscription levels:
Pro
- $14.99/month for 2,500 credits
- $149/year for 30,000 credits
Basic
- $4.99/month for 250 credits
- $49/year for 3,000 credits
As you can probably tell, the Pro plan is the best deal. Pro offers 10x the # credits as Basic for just 3x the price. Unless you're transcribing 3+ hour Lex Fridman podcasts (some people have tried), Pro subscribers should not run out of credits.
If you do somehow run out of credits, you can buy more. Pro members who go over the credit list can buy more nearly at-cost (e.g. $25 for 10k credits). If you're a Basic plan subscriber, you are better off switching to a Pro plan instead of buying more credits.
You need an active membership to redeem unused credits, so if your membership lapses, your credits will be unreedemable. However, if you re-start your subscription, you'll be able to access all your old credits alongside the new ones.
This app is a game changer for me since I’m on the go a lot. Nice way to organize my thoughts and automate content to be ready for me to send out

Oasis is amazing. Speak whatever you want and it takes your random thoughts, or list of tasks and creates a summary, outline, text message, thread, or blog article. And the output is logical, concise, and helpful.
Hello, I recently had the opportunity to transcribe an entire 20-minute podcast episode, and I was impressed by how precise the transcription was. The punctuation, spelling of names, and paragraph breaks were all accurate. However, the one issue I had was with the subscription options. I would prefer to pay based on my usage rather than having to subscribe to either of the two options that are currently offered. Despite this, I believe that the ability to effortlessly convert spoken words into written text is an amazing product. It has the potential to make communication more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Simply put, this app changed my life. A day doesn't go but without using Oasis to collect my thoughts, write emails or get my thoughts across in a clearer way to my colleagues. 10/10!

I've been using OASIS AI in beta for a while now and nothing has solved the problem of how to get ideas/thoughts/issues out my head into a useable format like this tool. It has been a magical experience. Something that previously would have taken me hours to write down and redraft has suddenly become a 15 minute process of speaking it out and making a couple of edits. I highly recommend this product, it's fantastic.

Stop heading to the whiteboard, use Oasis first! Oasis is the perfect "next step" AI implementation that ANYONE can use to collect their thoughts. I use Oasis when my ideas hit me -- walking, driving, doing chores. Then I go back to review my augmented ideas that I can email, text, post to LinkedIn and more. Total game changer.

I use this to riff on ideas while driving - lots of rambling about stuff on my mind and then Oasis summarizes it so I can send to colleagues when I arrive. For folks who prefer chatting to typing, this is awesome
Cool! Doesn't it support languages other than English? This doesn't seem to understand other languages very well.
Oasis helps me think better - that's about the highest praise I can give anything. I've been using it for a month now and it's been an great way to a) vocalize my thoughts without worrying about structure and b) turn them into substantial writeups that act as feedback loops for my own thinking (not to mention the odd blog post as well :)) It's amazing.
