First of all, we would like to thank all of you who’ve welcomed us with warm hands into the community and shown us tremendous responses within the last month, we just wanted to let you know that it meant a lot to us and we wanted to return the favor by keeping you guys up to date with the latest that TUK has to offer. Our team of designers and developers have been working their fingers to the bone to get the job done so that you guys can have a seamless TUK experience in version 2.5.
TUK v2.5 is jam-packed with new features and enhancements that will make TUK an even better experience.
Industry-leading component viewer:
By far the tool that we’re most proud of is the component viewer. Building upon the previous iteration and constantly improving them in every version, we can proudly say that our component viewer is the best in the market, But out of all the updates, version 2.5 has some crazy exciting enhancements coming your way.
1. Add to collection:
A lot of people from the community were getting lost in the huge library of 600+ components, to resolve this issue we’ve added an “add to collection” feature which will allow users to make collections of their favorite components and rather than scrolling through the library every time they want a specific component, users can now revisit their favorite components whenever they want from their account.
2. Real-time feedback:
The feedback feature in the component viewer serves two purposes, for us it provides insights on what potential problems devs might be facing with a particular component, and for the community, it acts as a discussion platform where they can discuss their implementation of a specific component.
3. Multi-device view:
Although the resizer worked perfectly it did not provide specific breakpoints, multi-device view allows devs to have a look at a component in mobile and tablet view side by side
4. Dark mode preview:
Components developed in the earlier stages did not have a dark version to them, dark mode design was introduced later on. For components that support dark mode, a toggle is available to switch between light and dark mode. Pretty neat, right!
Apart from that, did you know that we’ve added 106 more components to the library while 68 more from the existing components now have React, Angular, and Vue support.
We would like to thank each and every one of you from the community and hope that what we do enable you to get the job done, better and faster!
Stay Safe and Happy Diving!
