Hi Product Hunt👋 I'm Yamato, building Tabl from Tokyo, together with @sho_yasuda_undesk.
AI’s making everything faster—but personal productivity isn’t enough anymore. If you can’t move fast as a team, you can’t win.
When we opened the waitlist for our multi-player browser 8 months ago, we weren’t sure what would happen. Turns out, the response was overwhelming. After countless user calls and sleepless nights, we’re finally launching Tabl to the public.
One big lesson from our beta: multi-player products need multi-player onboarding. Even if one person loves the idea, they won't get it if they try it alone.
So we built Tabl Unlock—a short, escape game-style product tour. Each teammate gets a puzzle across real web apps. You’ll talk, share clues, and solve together—all inside Tabl. It’s designed specifically for champions, the early adopters (like you), to bring their team in.
Tabl is your work browser. In fact, we recommend keeping your favorite browser as your default, and using Tabl as your secondary—just like Slack for work and WhatsApp for personal.
Hi there! I’m one of the makers of Tabl, together with @yamatokaneko
From the start, we’ve been a remote-first team. As we started building Tabl, it quickly became our central hub for work. Every web app you open through it becomes multi-player.
I’ve been a long-time Brave user. I can’t browse the internet (or watch YouTube!) without an ad blocker. In fact, Brave is still my default browser—and that’s exactly how we recommend using Tabl: keep your current browser for personal use, and use Tabl specifically for work.
Tabl is still early, but we’re proud of the core features like tab presence, Shared Window, and Switch Control. If any of those clicks with you, we’d love to hear from you!
I really like the idea of having a work specific browser that allows for easy collaboration. It's reaalllyy annoying having to install a bunch of plugins, need to upgrade accounts, and the worst is SCREENSHARE while trying to collab remotely.
Even when working right next to a colleague we often wish we could work on the same file seamlessly. A lot of software like @Canva, @Miro, and even @Google Workspace do this right but it's nice to see a browser make the whole internet multiplayer.
@sho_yasuda_undesk@gabe I’m glad you asked! Integrating AI within a browser is something Dia, OpenAI, Perplexity are all working on. Maybe Google will soon add Gemini on Chrome. But they all focus on single-player productivity.
What we’re building is something only a multi-player browser can do: training an AI clone of you based on your browsing activity, so your teammates can ask it questions anytime, even when you’re offline.
My team will definitely use it. Sometimes Zoom/Meet is enough, but recently an all-browser collaboration becomes essential in a day-to-day. Cool feature, best luck with the launch.
@ngohungtheanh Thanks Austin! I highly recommend starting with Tabl Unlock with your team! It’s a short escape game that shows how effortlessly you can collaborate by opening shared tabs and switching control in real time.
This concept of a multiplayer browser is genuinely refreshing. The “Tabl Unlock” onboarding idea is clever it not only introduces features but also shows the value of collaboration upfront.
Will Tabl eventually support shared extensions or plugins across teammates so that entire workflows can be synced more easily?
@shahriardgm Thanks for the great question! We decided to build a full browser instead of extension for 2 main reasons.
1. Browser extensions can only control limited parts of the browser. Tabl needs deeper control than that. Building a complete browser was the only way to deliver this multi-player experience.
2. We want you to keep your current browser as a default and treat Tabl as a secondary. Adding multi-player experience in your personal browser was not a use case we wanted to pursue.
That said, we’re open to building lightweight extensions in the future, such as “Open this tab in Tabl” to support cross-browser workflows.
Impressive launch. Tabl’s approach to multiplayer onboarding and the concept of a dedicated work browser is both thoughtful and timely. Wishing the team continued success.
@hi_caicai Thanks! A chat room would definitely be a great addition and could make Tabl even more like a complete team collaboration hub. It’s definitely something we’ll keep in mind for the future!
@abod_rehman Thanks for the kind words! We’re really glad you liked the Unlock onboarding experience. It’s all about making collaboration fun and easy. And yes, juggling tabs and tools can be a lot, so we’re excited to help streamline that for teams!
Tabl looks super exciting @yamatokaneko & team. I am definitely going to give this a try. Have been an Arc (love the spaces) user and have used Chrome a lot but none of them have a multiplayer capability.
@vivek_karna Thanks for the support! We’re excited to offer something new with Tabl’s multi-player functionality, and we hope it adds a unique touch to your browsing experience!
Tabl is optimizing the process of team collaboration with its innovative approach to multi-player onboarding. It’s an interesting way to integrate productivity tools and I'm excited to see this product launches!
I'm intrigued by the concept. Great angle that you'd be the first, secondary browser. My team and I are going to give this a whirl in discovery research and let you know how we get on.
@kevin_mcdonagh1 Appreciate the support Kevin! Excited for your team to try Tabl out. We can’t wait to hear how it fits into your workflow and what kind of impact it has!
@friso_van_de_stadt Thanks for your comment! Just to be clear, the tabs you have open are not shared with others at default.
It behaves just like traditional browsers. The difference is that if your teammate is actively working on a tab and you happen to open the same tab, their icon will appear on the tab. It's like Google Docs, but you don't have to be active on the tab to see presence. The presence feature is now on one layer above, at the browser level.

Very cool idea. Definitely will give it a go for a longer period, and compare to Arc and Dia.
One thing I'm a bit cautious for though: accessing my personal email and LinkedIn...
