I have too many tabs, you have too many tabs. There is no good solution to manage them... UNTIL NOW! I've built this extension to bring a Dock into your WebBrowser. Now you can find them with a quick glance. You won't loose your Google Meet tab ever again!

Hello everyone! I'm excited to share my first web extension with you! Like many of us, I'm an avid tab collector and often end up with hundreds of open tabs... We all know that frustrating moment during a meeting when we are looking for the tab with the video call in an hurry... It happens far too often... For me, the web browser is behaving like an operating system, where each tab represents an app's context. And just as no one would use an OS without a way to quickly find their apps, we need better tools to manage our browser tabs. **That's why I built this extension.** It brings a Dock-like interface to help you manage all your tabs effortlessly! You can check, remove, or open tabs - just like you would with a real OS Dock. The project is open-source and welcomes contributions. Feel free to share your feedback and suggestions for improvement! Thank you :) *EDIT*: Thank you for all your feedback, a new version has been pushed!

very cool. can we have separate docks per browser window?
JC Vasselon
@alex_koo That's a really good question. At this point, the tab is shared accross windows, and I find it easier to have all tabs in the same one. I need to dig into the API to see if it's possible and if it is, how to provide the best experience. Thank you for this feedback!

Congrats on the launch! Love the idea, finally a simple fix for tab chaos. Quick question: Does it sync across devices?
JC Vasselon
@ihuzaifashoukat The extension will be installed accross all your browser if you have allowed the sync. At this point, it will load the local context. So if your tabs are already synced, it should be okay. Feel free to tell me if there is anyway to improve this, I haven't tested this usecase.

Haha, I love the idea! I am often multi-tasking or opening a new tab because I see something interesting that I want to dig into later, so I end up with a ton of tabs open. Is Tab Dock available for all browsers (I use Brave and Opera mainly)? Is Tab Dock customizable?
JC Vasselon
@yvan_domingues Compatible with Chrome environment (Edge, Chrome, Brave) and Firefox. I don't know about Opera, maybe it's already compatible. Customizable? What do you have in mind? It's something I could think about. The project is open-source by the way, if you want to contribute or open Issues. Thank you for the feedback!

@jcvasselon About customization I mean to be able to arrange the dock however we want. It can be per website links as shown, but also per purpose or categories of usage, it can also be about customizing the look of the dock, sizing, placing, etc.
JC Vasselon
@yvan_domingues I'm not that far at this point, but these are some great ideas. Placing could help a lot when it's on top of some buttons. Currently, you can already drag n drop most icons and tabs to reorganize it. An other feature I would like to push is the possibility to pin tab icons even when they are closed.
