Impressed by both the level of ambition of the @josh_swit and the Swit team to create an integrated product suite that brings teams together seamlessly โ€” at a fraction of the cost and frustration of trying to weave together several competitors' tools. In the year of efficiency, when every founder needs to squeeze every penny, this kind of polished toolkit is what lean startup founders need.
Josh Lee
@chrismessina Thanks for hunting us! All the Swit teams are truly dedicated to our mission of re:Humanizing Work, requiring a significant commitment. Our goal is to improve efficiency for modern teams, with a focus not just on financial perspectives but also on fostering collaborative productivity across apps beyond departmental boundaries.

@josh_swit @chrismessina I used to handle B2B SaaS costs at my previous job, and the expenses for the tech stack constituted a significant portion of the company's operational costs. It's crucial to find ways to reduce the number of tools without compromising the capabilities necessary for the team to work effectively. Swit offers a variety of features that companies need for collaboration at a minimal cost. Well put, Chris! ๐Ÿ‘
Garrick Antikajian
@josh_swit @chrismessina Thanks for the support, Chris! ๐Ÿ‘ And, yes, Iโ€™m constantly amazed at how easily and efficiently all of our teams are able to collaborate and feel connected to each other and our shared goals โ€” all within Swit โ€” despite the fact that many of us are located in different time zones and around the world.
Nyda Ahmad
@josh_swit @chrismessina We appreciate the support! I would echo your sentiment that to be able to create a platform that incorporates essential work tools and also supports native 3rd-party apps while at a much lower price point than the competition is a truly remarkable feat.

Hello Product Hunt! Iโ€™m the co-founder and CEO of Swit, and Iโ€™m beyond excited to share our launch with all of you! With Swit 2.0, we worked to transition from a single multi-function product to multiple integrated products, providing you with a collaboration experience that brings your teams, essential tools, and workflows together. Swit was first conceived as a solution to minimize the inefficiencies that stem from constantly switching between single-function work tools. Swit 2.0 takes that mission a step further by also minimizing tab-switching within our own product to ensure that everyone in your organization is quite literally on the same page. ๐Ÿ’Œ ๐Ÿ›— Navigate between channels, projects, DMs, and files in multiple workspaces from a single window. ๐Ÿ”„ Access a second workspace in the right panel, eliminating the need for multiple browser windows. ๐Ÿ–‡๏ธ Integrate both Google Workspace and MS365 into your workspaces for email, calendar, docs, cloud drives, and more! โœ… View task details in an overlay, avoiding the need to switch screens. ๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ See all your activity and mention notifications in one menu, with related notifications grouped for streamlined review. ๐Ÿ”Œ One hub for all plug-ins, including Approvals, Automation, and Goals. ๐Ÿ“ Access and share files and saved items across workspaces via drag and drop. ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Customize your plan by configuring functions and choosing only the plug-ins you need. ๐ŸŒ Support for 17 languages. One of the biggest issues that modern businesses grapple with isnโ€™t a lack of tools, but rather an overwhelming abundance of them. When every team is using different software to do their work, it wastes time and money that could be better spent on company and employee growth. The abundance of disconnected tools also makes it difficult for people to work toward shared goals on cross-functional projects that extend beyond departmental boundaries. Iโ€™d love to hear your feedback on the product, and Iโ€™m happy to answer any questions you may have about the features and functions. Our priority has always been an excellent user experience and seamless collaboration, and weโ€™re confident youโ€™ll find that in Swit 2.0!
Paul Kim
@josh_swit I'm so excited to announce that Swit is now supporting 17 languages. This will unlock lots of new opportunities across the globe. Let's go team!

@keith_lee1 It's one of the coolest features of Swit! Makes things so easy and fast. Just grab an item from the right panel and drop in the channel, and boom, there it's shared. So intuitive.
Ashley Orcutt
@keith_lee1 So true, I like that you can drag and drop emails, task cards, files, and more into a channel. https://swit.io/communication

Swit is one of the most intuitive Work OS I have ever used. That's saying something coming from someone as technologically challenged as I am :P. It seamlessly combines all your work essentials, with an option to add on or subtract something specific to your business needs, It also works for any company size or work model. Once you go swit, you never switch!

Swit is such a great tool! Dragging and dropping everything from emails to meetings across different channels is a game changer in my workflow, so much more efficient. Our remote teams in Swit never had any problems with aligning even with different timezones involved.

@anj_censon We're so glad it has changed your workflow and hope it continues to change your workflow. Thank you for your work and for using Swit. You're an integral part of what we do at Swit! โ˜บ๏ธ

Swit is all you need for management and collaboration at work. I've been using Swit for several months now and Swit is simply the best productivity and task management tool I've used. Not only does Swit offer the widest variety of features that fill in all...I mean all... of your needs to manage your work and collaborate with colleagues, it does so by seamlessly connecting and integrating both the internal and 3rd party plugins. The product is best-in-class both in useability and usefulness. Kudos to the Swit team! And congratulations on your launch!

Looks amazing! How were you able to provide so many features for comparatively lower cost to competitors out there? Also, we use Slack. What would be the best way to port all of our existing data to Swit?
Kay Seong
@charlie_choi3 We're delighted that you find our product amazing! ๐Ÿ˜„ Our ability to offer a robust set of features at a competitive price point is due to our team's dedication to efficiency and a customer-centric approach. Also, we know the struggle faced by early-stage startups โ€“ juggling limited resources, keeping everyone aligned, and still building something incredible. That's why work collaboration features like communication and project management are at the core, all without breaking the bank.
Kay Seong
@charlie_choi3 We offer a convenient Slack import feature that allows you to seamlessly transfer all your existing data to Swit. If you have any questions about the import process or our product, our amazing support team is always happy to help. Just ping us, and we'll be there to guide you every step of the way. ๐ŸŒŸ
Nyda Ahmad
@charlie_choi3 Hello! Kay has already answered your main question but I thought you'd want to see a detailed comparison of Swit Vs. Slack. https://swit.io/blog/detail/en/s...
Allegra Barnes
@charlie_choi3 Hi Charlie! Thanks for the question. Please check this out! https://swit.io/blog/detail/en/s...
Josh Lee
@charlie_choi3 Good question. It's possible only because we're a compound startup, meaning we offer multiple products working seamlessly in one ecosystem. So we don't depend on one single product for our revenue growth. If clients adopt one of our products, they'll come back to us when they need another. Thanks.
Carol Moh
Congrats on the launch! ๐Ÿš€ I hadn't come across Swit till today and combining everything into one place, with the dragging and dropping of emails is *chef's kiss* - I have some team members who prefer to email me and some prefer to send chat messages. It can be hard to keep documentation/notes all in one place but with a platform like this, it seems to take care of that issue! Can you set up chats/projects that can be accessed by external parties like freelancers or agencies?
Ashley Orcutt
@carolmoh Thank you so much for your support! When you select your plan, you're able to add-on our Guest Plug-In which lets you collaborate with business partners in your workspace! You can then add them to specific channels and projects so they can work directly with your team. Here's what Swit 2.0 has to offer: https://swit.io/blog/detail/en/r...
Josh Lee
@carolmoh Thanks for the comment! Yes you can do that in two ways. 1. You can create a partner workspace and invite them as guests. You can easily manage multiple workspaces with our cross-workspace features like searches, files, saved, and notifications. 2. You can create channels & projects for guests in the workspace that your team's working on.
leeze
@carolmoh @josh_swit @allegra_b There was a guest function. That's good information. I was worried because there were a lot of people working on site who were doing temporary work, so I will try to make good use of it.

As a Swit 2.0 maker, my favorite part of Swit is to switch between multiple organizations and accounts. It significantly cut the toggle tax! @kay_seong @joy_yoo1 @taemin 100% agreed!! Nicely done everyone!
Janice
@ellie_1004 @brie_oh @sydneychan @kay_seong The best thing about Swit for me is that I'm able to create tasks directly from messages. We've all been there, there's often a conversation with a long thread that turns into something actionable, but a person who ends up being assigned to this task has trouble understanding it because he/she does not know the exact history. Thanks to this 'convert to task' function, I can create a task with a backlink to the original message, causing zero miscommunications along the way!
Sydney Chan
@ellie_1004 @brie_oh @kay_seong Couldn't agree more! The ability to effortlessly switch between multiple organizations and accounts in Swit 2.0 is a game-changer. It's all about reducing that toggle tax and keeping productivity at its peak! As for my favorite superpower in Swit, I'm enchanted by the threaded notifications. Keeping discussions organized and flowing seamlessly has been a true magic wand for our team's collaboration! โœจ

Olivia Cole
@xavier_jj Hi Xavier! Swit has made a huge difference and impact at our office. With a growing team, Swit has kept us all organized and on task. Most of all, Swit is incredibly intuitive and easy to use! I truly don't know how we could get everything done and communicated without this tool. Swit has 100% of the features our team needs to adequately project manage!!
Ashley Orcutt
@xavier_jj Thank you for the kind words! Here's more information on what Swit has to offer: https://swit.io/blog/detail/en/r...
Josh Lee
@xavier_jj Thanks! As you said, we have a bunch of integrations in Swit Store. But we believe the interactivity between integrations is much more important than just the number of integrations. So we don't have to give up interaction in the name of integrations. Before Swit, integrating apps using public APIs is so so limited. All they could do is copy and paste text-based notifications into selected channels without getting anything done. That's why we launched Swit 2.0. Please try it out :)
Euna Jo
@xavier_jj Sweet Swit - love it๐Ÿ˜† Thank you for the support Xavier!
I love this idea guys, congratulations! but why not making a feature too where you can co-work on design elements, such as the tool that you have in figma where you can co-operate in the same design at the same time. and making to use with Canva, figma etc...?
Keith Lee
@gobinx_account Please keep an eye on our future updates for new features and integrations! We definitely have many new exciting integrations in our roadmap.

Swit is definitely the OS that everyone needs. The number of integrations as well as the software's core features' versatility is way more ROI positive than using a whole set of tools by themselves. Way to go Swit 2.0! Congraulations on the launch and I hope more companies are able to build better collaboration practices by using Swit like we have !

@clint_eastyood Hi Clint, thank you so much for your fantastic feedback! We're thrilled to hear that Swit has been a game-changer for your collaboration practices. Josh Lee
@clint_eastyood Hey Clint, thanks for the comment. Well said! Even if we might still lack in certain individual features compared to the combination of multiple competitors, customers appreciate the power of the overall ecosystem, which is greater than the sum of individual features. Therefore, they are coming to us, valuing this advantage.

@chrislester Thanks, Chris! FYR, Here are Josh's favorite picks. I hope this helps! 1. You can turn conversation into trackable tasks before it evaporates. 2. You can share your tasks with full context to chat channels by drag & drop. 3. You can communicate and collaborate across multiple workspaces in one window. 4. You can search project, task, file, messages, DM across workspaces at a time. 5. You can open Google Workspace apps - gmail, drive, files, meet & calendar all available within Swit.
Allegra Barnes
@oliviajane Wow! All those features sound really amazing. What is your favorite one?

Congrats on launching Swit 2.0! It's great to see a product tackling the real pain of app-switching with an all-in-one solution. Keeping everything in one ecosystem could truly streamline the workflow. Keep a close eye on user feedback to continue refining the user experience. What inspired the creation of Swit 2.0?
Keith Lee
@daxeelsoni Our CEO actually was a heavy user of Slack + Trello integrated together, but with all of the setup in integrating the two, and switching back and forth between two different apps, he thought there must be a better way to work and increase productivity. When he couldn't find an existing solution on the market, he decided to build his own. That is the short story of how Swit was born!
Josh Lee
@daxeelsoni Thanks for your interest in our inspiration that started Swit 2.0. The world has changed and we believe the old Digital Transformation strategies won't work in this new world. So we've undergone a major shift in our product strategy. Transitioning from an "all-in-one workspace," we've now positioned ourselves as the pioneer Compound Startup in the collaboration arena, a vision we've meticulously crafted over the past four years. In line with this evolution, we've launched Swit 2.0 today. So we hope you can see how we're redefining collaboration to better drive employee connection in this new era with Swit 2.0! For deeper context, please take a look at my blog article - https://swit.io/blog/detail/en/r...
