This is really well done. I hope they add availability checking soon. That's the one feature I need that Google Calendar still does better.

I'm huge fan and supporter of Sunrise. I agree though @MikePreuss - I would love to see integration between Sunrise and Mailbox.

@jeremylv - I'm curious to hear more about the calendar "subscriptions" you have in the mobile app. Currently you provide holidays, sports schedules, etc. Do you have plan to expand this to other categories like TV shows, communities (e.g. Product Hunt events!), or interest-based meetups (e.g. startups)?

LOVE Sunrise! This will immediately replace Google Calendar as my permanent second pinned tab in Chrome. I have a had a hard time understanding why Google has had zero innovation on their calendar product in like five years. It's as if it has no devs or product people working on it.

@bracco - no kidding. I can't believe they are removing the ability to attach calendar invites in Gmail in July

@jeremylv indeed. Side question: I was just searching (on web) and noticed Sunrise wasn't pulling up events that were back in 2013 on my Google Calendar. How far back in time do you grab events?

@bracco Around 3/4 months in the past and a year from now for the future. This is a limitation we set at the moment, but are planning to expand the range of time you can access in the past/future.
