Hey people! A while back I had ended down the dreary road of subscribing to quite a few newsletters, and all of them seemed to provide useful information to me. I eventually reached a point where I had a massive backlog, and wanted to see if there was any way I could reduce these emails into a single one I could view at leisure. This is a tool I made that summarises a set of newsletters into 250 words or less, and drops them to your inbox twice a week. It also keeps the web links of the emails, for when you'd like to read the email in full if it was interesting. SummrAIz condenses information into a "Who, What, Why" format, so that you can skim information at a glance. You get to read all the headlines, without any of the fluff. All the information is based off the newsletter itself, thereby basing it as the source of truth. It's an active work in progress (in early Beta), and I would appreciate any feedback and thoughts.

Irfan, congratulations on the launch! 🥳 Really important, day-to-day problem with email flooding for many people that you're trying to solve. Some technical questions about your tool: 1) does SummrAlz summarises all the emails or user should choose 2-3 the most interesting sources that he would like to have in short? 2) in what directions are you planning to develop SummrAlz further, what new features to add?

@anna_sv thanks Anna! Answering your questions: 1) A user should choose the newsletters they’d like summarised currently. 2) Better summarisation, adding/creating infographics that are unique to each summary, and a few other surprises :p. This beta would give me quick and early feedback, and I would love to grow the product from there

@irfan_s Irfan, thank you for an answer! Great, that now you're collecting a feedback in order to grow the product from there. Wish you good luck with product development, will wait for SummrAIz updates!
Very interesting problem to solve. I can see how my inbox is flooded with newsletters that at various points in time I felt was good, and now I don’t go through all of them for sure. Looking forward to trying this out. Good luck with the launch
