Hi people, thanks for checking out Castle!
We've all heard about the astronomical housing costs that have priced out millions of people from the most economically productive cities in America. As makers and fellow founders, we are especially affected by this as we often have to take a significant amount of risk to build the things we want to. Unless you're well connected and relatively financially comfortable, it's hard to take ambitious swings if 1) you're not in the best place to do so; 2) you don't have a roof over your head.
Castle was born with one question: "what if real estate worked like a VC firm?". What if people could secure what they need today (housing) by selling their future assets much like startups sell equity (promise of future value) for upfront capital. Using Income Share Agreements, this is now possible.
We are currently pre-launch but are ready to accept applications. Happy to answer any questions.
