I personally know Mike, the founder, and he built something that he wished was in the market. Accountability is the name of the game for business, life, and fitness, and with StrengthPals, you can track your workouts and connect with others. And by doing the first two steps, you WILL crush your goals!

Hey Product Hunt! 👋🏼

My name is Mike, creator of StrengthPals, and I’m excited to share it with you today! 🎉

StrengthPals is the ultimate strength training social network. Think Strava but for weightlifters.

Take control of your strength journey with tools designed for the modern lifter. Whether you're tracking PRs, sharing victories, or finding your perfect training Squad, StrengthPals keeps you moving forward.

Let’s be honest… there are a TON of workout trackers out there… so why StrengthPals?

  • Real-Time Progress Indicators

  • Squad & Player segmented leaderboards

  • Public/Private groups (Squads)

  • Dedicated chat & workout feeds for each Squad

  • Share images & videos to social feeds

  • Custom Workout Generator

  • Insightful workout & exercise analytics

  • 600+ pre-loaded exercises with GIFs & instructions

  • Advanced Plate Calculator

  • Intuitive modern clean design

As a bodybuilder, I understand the importance of tracking workouts so my goal was to create an app that is super intuitive to use while still providing you with the tools needed to accurately track progression (progressive overload).

The app is free but we also have a 50% discount for the yearly subscription for Product Hunt members (Code: HUNT or link below)

@masump Hey Masum, great question! So upon first use of the workout generator you'll be asked to select your level of expertise and workout type (strength, bodybuilding, full body, etc) and when you create your workout you can further refine that workout by selecting the time frame (30-60 min), muscles targeted, and exclude any exercises.

We're also working with IBM to incorporate WatsonX to further enhance this workout generator by using previous workouts and user feedback to build the next routine. We expect this to be ready for release by fall 2025.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions, thank you!

This is such a great product! I've been using StrengthPals for a while and I absolutely love it. It makes seeing my progress over time so easy and helps me stay motivated with my friends through the Squads feature.

I’ve been using StrengthPals for the last couple of months and only have good things to say! As someone who is a big Strava and Apple Watch fitness competitions fan, I love the fact that I can compete with friends in weight lifting based activities. Excited to see what’s to come!

Just downloaded the app and I’m a HUGE fan of the leaderboards! I like how I can create a group and compete directly with my close friends. Are there future plans to expand on the leaderboard?

Michael Carrillo

@nicholas_carrillo  Thank you for the feedback! Honestly the leaderboard is my favorite feature as well!

Nothing set in stone yet but we're thinking about adding squad vs squad competitions (ie: gym vs gym) where we compare various metrics between groups (total volume, PRs, streak). We also like the idea of allowing the squads to set the target goal for the "battle". We're still open to ideas though so feel free to drop them in this thread, thanks!
