Good morning! I didn't expect to wake up to seeing Pinecast on PH today! 😅 Thanks Rakhim!
I started Pinecast in 2015 as a way to host my own shows without the burden of feature debt and papercuts that's common with incumbent services in the podcasting industry. Since then, it's organically grown—user by user—into a proper small business serving well over a year of audio to listeners every day.
From the get-go the approach has been to create a solid product, with a focus on efficiency and scalability. That focus has enabled us to keep our entry-level price low while still offering a well-rounded service to small and medium-sized podcasters. And perhaps taking from my background at Mozilla, all of the code written at Pinecast is open source.
Happy to answer any questions. Thanks again for having us!
Hi Rakhim, PineCast looks good. We would like to invite you to try JustCast
https://www.thejustcast.com/ We aren't asking you to switch to JustCast, but play with it, and it could be nice that you can give us few feedbacks. Thanks very much :D
@jacqvon Thanks for the question! We're continuing to add new features and streamline existing workflows. Podcasters want better tools to understand their relationship with their audience (who's listening, why, what do they skip, etc.); we're building tools that help not only answer these questions, but also make suggestions about what a podcaster _should_ be asking.
