This is actually the first posted episode of a 3 part series from StarTalk, Neil deGrasse Tyson's podcast. As a show, StarTalk is hit or miss for me, but this episode is one of my favorite of all time. It has an amazing panel of comedians and scientists and it's a fast paced, entertaining conversation about science that makes you laugh out of loud. I had a smile on my face the whole time, learned new things, and counted over 10 Radiolab episode topics across all 3 parts.
Omg loveeeee Start Talk! Can't believe this hasn't been submitted before!! I listen to this on Insight all the time! Really hoping for a season 2 of Cosmos!
I've a few questions for the scientists on the panel. - Have you read any of the "Foundation" series by Isaac Asimov, The Makus Nexus by Dan Schaller, The Risk Agent by Ridley Scott, or any of the T.H. Lain novels that give a story of the core D&D classes?
Have you seen movies such as... Lucy, Limitless, The Accountant, Ready Player One, Transcendence, etc.? Have you watch any series along the lines of Star Gate SG-1, Star Gate Atlantis, The Librarians, Fringe, The Visitor, The Pretender, etc.?
I pose the questions since some of the things that were mention seem to have been taken from those sources. - If you have not watched them or read them, I recommend you do.
Fyi, I would have commented on the youtube video, but it was not set up for it.
