Hey PH! šŸ‘‹ We made a browser extension for your over-stimulated, idea-hoarding, screenshot-happy brain. It’s called Snack it—and it turns any image you see online into an AI-powered moodboard you can prompt from in one click. Picture this: You're scrolling, see a dope UI, your brain goes 'YES!'... and then it's gone, lost in tab purgatory. We built this to kill that feeling. It’s simple: ✨ Save it: Instantly snack any image. šŸŽØ Build it: Organize visuals into smart moodboards. āš”ļø Prompt it: Auto-generate prompts from your vibes. šŸš€ Send it: One click to Midjourney, ChatGPT, etc. We’d love to know: What's the first thing you're going to snack? We built this because Pinterest doesn’t talk to ChatGPT—and that’s a crime. This is our day-one public launch. We’ll be in the comments all day answering every question. Try it, break it, and tell us what you need so we can ship Fix-Fridays forever!

Hey Product Hunters 🫔

As a Sunday night vibe coder and armchair designer with ADHD, anything that can speed up my workflow + organizing my references and inspo is a big unlock for me.

Here's 5 ways I've already used Snack it:

1ļøāƒ£ To copy a particular art style: Searched "surreal collage art", snacked the images that were my vibe -> Snack it created the style guide on the first try. Instant banger.

2ļøāƒ£ Built a color palette: Snacked 6 colors in the pallet -> Snack it's prompt generated the color codes -> sent to AI to create a color swatch

3ļøāƒ£ Remixed logos I like: Snacked 5 logos I liked (It was 5 Figma logos....) -> Made a "B" that looked like the Figma F logo

4ļøāƒ£ Created a fake brand: Snacked cartoon aliens I liked -> Snack it gave me the style description -> generated a whole brand kit with an alien mascot

5ļøāƒ£ Made a style guide for a real life DJ: We snacked 40 images that "feel like his brand" -> Snack it gave us a starting point to workshop his kit.

Okay, honesty hour:

I don’t think I’ve ever been on a team this weird, this obsessive, or this good at turning pain into an actual product.

The devs and designers? Some of the best in the entire game.

If Snack It feels ADHD-friendly, that’s because it’s built by people who literally can’t keep their visual inspiration in one place for more than 3 minutes.

Anyway, go ahead and try to break it.

Or just drop your weirdest outputs in the comments.

Hit us up on X/Twitter with your creations too!

@cobi_bean , his is exactly why we built it.

Snack it was never just about saving images—it was about saving ideas before they slipped away. For people like us, who think in visuals and bounce between tabs and tangents, inspiration is fast… but it disappears faster. You captured that chaos and turned it into creation—and that’s the dream.

The whole ā€œSnack it → prompt it → remix itā€ loop exists because we wanted the internet to feel more usable, more fun, more ours.

What you just shared? That’s not a use case. That’s a moodboard-powered dream.

Appreciate you building this with us—and showing people why we did it!

Cobi Bean

@ederteixeira "... a moodboard-powered dream".

Now if this doesn't get you excited, you are on the wrong website.

So many ideas have slipped away in passing, scrolling, whatever.

Then you get a dm.
Then your wife calls.
Then it's diaper changing time.

There goes that idea. And even if I screenshotted it, I'm not remembering what that was for.

Now the sauce: When I get a minute to come back to my list/moodboard, I can get it to do something.

The funniest part about all this is that both of us are literally the "target audience" or "user persona".

And THAT is how you know you are building the right thing and solving the right problems.

Zagita

This is the ultimate weapon for visual thinkers! That ā€˜see it → snack it → prompt it’ flow turns chaos into creativity in seconds. No more lost inspiration—just pure, unstoppable ideation.

The demo video didn’t just eat—it devoured. That logo remix example? Mind blown. Take my screenshots and my upvote!

Eder Teixeira

@rani_zagita

Your comment just made our whole launch day 🫠

We built this for the visual thinkers—the ones who think in color, mood, and chaos. You captured that better than we ever could. And yes… that remix demo? Snack it at its finest.

Thanks for snacking with us šŸ«šŸ’„

Cobi Bean

@rani_zagita This comment just devoured my "2:30 feeling".

Serious Zagita, thank you so much for the kind words.

Keep cooking and iterating faster than ever before!

Show us what you end up creating or using the tool for. We'd love to share on social!

Zagita

@ederteixeira @cobi_bean Watching the remix demo was a total "AHA" moment for me! Calling this just "creative" feels like an understatement—it’s the kind of idea that sparks a chain reaction of inspiration (it already has for me!). I’ll definitely show you what I create with Snack it—just need some time to sift through my inspo folder. So many options… LOL.

Nader Ikladious

That sounds genuinely useful — I’m constantly grabbing inspiration from all over the web. This feels like the kind of tool that would quickly become second nature. Congrats on the launch šŸ«šŸš€

Eder Teixeira

@naderikladious Appreciate you šŸ«

That little ā€œSnack itā€ button is the heart of the extension—hover, click, and it turns any image into a prompt-ready, AI-sendable asset. No more screenshots. No more ā€œwhere did I see that?ā€ chaos.

We built Snack it for that exact moment—when you see something that sparks a creative itch and need to do something with it. Save it, prompt it, share it. Built for chaos brains like mine.

Thanks for snacking with us today—means a lot. Let me know if you run into any hiccups

Nader Ikladious

@ederteixeira Sure thing 😊

Cobi Bean

@naderikladious Seriously. You nailed it.

And sure, the real sauce is auto-prompting your moodboard -> output -> iterate.

BUT....

Here's a secret: Literally just saving images for later, without having to store them to your device, is a lowkey way we might see a lot folks using this as more and more people give it a shot.

Cobi Bean

@naderikladious PS: Good luck on your upcoming launch for Linkinize!

Nader Ikladious

@cobi_bean Really Appreciate it 😊

Cobi Bean

@naderikladious Absolutely!

If we can help in any way, don't hesitate to reach out. Our socials are in my main comment from this morning.

Joey Zhu

Love that you can just see the top prompts right in ChatGPT—saves me sooo much time searching, fr. Super clever idea, props to the team!

Eder Teixeira

@joey_zhu_seopage_ai That’s exactly the dream, Joey—search less, create faster šŸ’”

We wanted to make the best prompts find you instead of making you dig for them. Appreciate the kind words and support today!

Senthil Kumar

@Snack Prompt Excited to see monetization options for prompt creators - I hope i understood it correctly!. Still exploring the features, Congratulations!

Eder Teixeira

@prompttuner Appreciate you diving in, Senthil! šŸ™Œ

Yes—you understood it right. Creators can now sell or tip-gate their prompts, moodboards, or AI outputs. Think ā€œBuy Me a Coffee,ā€ but for prompt workflows. So pumped to see what people start building with it šŸ

Berkay Yavuz

Love the idea, very nice branding.

Eder Teixeira

Thank you @sberkay !

We wanted the branding to feel fun and fast—like the product itself. Appreciate you being here on launch day šŸ«šŸš€

Cobi Bean

@sberkay Thanks Berkay,

I'm larping as a designer 30 minutes a day and this tool has let me double my output in that 30 minutes.

@ederteixeira and the team have blown this outta the park.

Built by designers, for designers.

Thanks for tapping in!

Arunava Das
Launching soon!

Snack Prompt looks like such a smart idea! Finding genuinely useful prompts for ChatGPT can be a real time-sink, so having a curated community hub for them is brilliant. Definitely excited to give this a spin today and see how it streamlines my AI workflows. Congrats to the team on the launch!

Eder Teixeira

@arunava_das_ You nailed it, Arunava—prompt fatigue is real šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

That’s why we built Snack Prompt and Snack it: to kill the scroll and bring your AI workflows closer to creation. Excited for you to try it—let me know how it fits into your flow!

Cobi Bean

@arunava_das_ Thanks Arunava.

The team worked really hard on this and we appreciate you giving it a test drive.

Would love to hear how it works into your flow. Let us know here or on socials!

Adam Gusky

This is such a fun idea!

George R

Pretty useful function. I tried it for my home renovation with some examples I saw online and it did a great job creating a prompt so that I can get a similar feel and vibe.

Lakshya Singh

Wow! This is great! I always wondered where do they sell the AI agents. Congrats on the launch @ederteixeira @cobi_bean

Lien Chueh

I like to screenshot websites that I find have visually appealing designs or unique formatting. Would Snack It be good for using for "design" mood boards for UI/UX?

Cobi Bean

@lienchueh Great question Lien,

So this is a great use case for Snack it actually.

If it was me, I'd use it as a ultra-fast way to jumpstart ideation.

You could snack images of UI's that you like to a moodboard and then let Snack it generate a prompt.

Going even deeper, you could have a moodboard to help you start your color palette, your button/icon choices, or even different types of gradients.

If I was working in UI/UX every day, Snack it would be my "ground zero" to get ideas off the ground quickly.
It's like letting the clunky tools or spending 2 minutes searching thru your files to find the screenshot you took, get out of your way

When you're being creative, every second counts. As you most likely know.

Travis H

Have this product a solid test run today! The benefit to my workflow was incredible. Highly recommend to literally anyone who works on a computer.

Cobi Bean
@travis_h1 Thanks for the kind words Travis. ā€œAnyone that works on a computerā€ is wild because of how true it is. The more people start using this the more weird use cases will pop up. Here’s 4 use cases that have nothing to do with ā€œAI artā€ - Extract tone/style from screenshots snack tweets or headlines → GPT mimics tone for writing or outreach. - snack UI’s and tweak your snacked prompt to highlight consistency of high converting pages. - snack your pitch deck -> write cold emails or dms based on the content of your deck - snack charts, data, graphs
Hellolikeey

What a nice initiative for everyone that need designs for their work

Rena

@cobi_bean This is exactly what my ADHD brain needed.

Snacked my entire Twitter feed in 5 minutes. Instant creative ammo. šŸ§ āš”ļø

Pinterest, take notes.

Dahlia

This tool gets me actually... chaotic and visual! I usually have cluttered screenshots just sitting on my desktop for days and weeks not including the hundred pinned tabs šŸ˜… I will surely try this! Congrats!

Lloyd Creates

What can I say that no one has mentioned yet. I'm in love with this tool. It's now a part of my AI visual workflow.

As someone who builds a lot of brand visuals, I used to spend way too much time wrestling with prompts, trying to get the AI to match my style, not just spit out something ā€œcool.ā€

Snack It fixes that. It’s the first tool I’ve used that actually thinks like an LLM and helps shape my raw ideas into prompts that the AI understands—but still reflect my aesthetic.

I’ve used it to:

Build consistent sets of motion art

Lock in exact visual language across hero images

Scale out campaign-style visuals in minutes, not hours

The best part? It doesn’t ask me to change how I think, it meets me where I am creatively, then turns that into something structured and powerful.

If you’re a designer, brand builder, creative director, or just tired of prompt roulette, Snack It is a no-brainer.

Massive props to the team šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Mario Palencia

It’s an excellent prompt. Built by an excellent homie

Elemen

This looks incredibly useful for visual creatives! ✨ I often find myself saving tons of images without a clear way to organize or leverage them effectively. The 'Prompt it' feature sounds like a game-changer. My question is, how does the AI interpret the 'vibe' of an image to generate the most relevant prompts? Is it purely visual analysis, or does it consider surrounding context? Congrats on the launch! šŸš€

Lesha Mansukhani

Building AI moodboards from web content is brilliant! How does it handle color palette detection?
