Slack AI was announced several months back but just now seems to finally be rolling out more broadly. Would you pay $200/yr for Slack's AI add-on?

My love for Slack continues to wane (that last design update has been a nightmare) and it makes me wonder about how ethically Slack is being in sourcing training data. Plus, how much AI do we need in everything?

The $200/year price tag for Slack AI seems steep, especially considering companies are already paying per-seat fees. However, this might replace multiple smaller AI-powered Slack apps that businesses currently use. I'm curious how many existing apps this new feature could potentially consolidate. also hey @wahl, it's great to see your name here :)

Hey Chris, How does Slack AI handle data privacy and security when summarizing sensitive conversations? Congrats on the launch!

Congrats on the successful release. Finally someone is making an ai plugin for slark. I've been waiting for someone to do slark's summary plugin.

Slack AI is like a smart helper right in your workplace chat. It can quickly summarize long chats and find information from your company's past conversations. This makes work easier and faster by helping you find what you need quickly.

Great to see AI being used to simplify communication and project management. However, it would be good to know more about how it handles privacy and data security.

While summarizing conversations can be useful, I’m concerned that it might lead to important details being overlooked.
