@happygezim the xonsh shell (Python-powered shell language and command prompt) has the kernel for Jupyter and you can use it :)
I tried it but couldn't get my head around how I should use it. It looks lovely but I need to find some examples.

We should be able to launch commands with something like shift+enter. Or maybe I didn't found the keyboard shortcuts!

You should add a remote terminal support : having a list of SSH'd servers and being able to alias and launch them on the go would be a blast

Shell applications always were something magical for me. I love it. Wish you best luck with it.
This would have been useful back when I had to SSH into the school servers to write code every day!
