Would you trust AI to tell you if your content is on-brand?

Hey PH đź‘‹

Serious question for marketers, designers, and brand-led teams:

You’ve got a beautiful brand book.
But… do people actually follow it?
Does every blog post, ad, or social creative really stay on-brand?

I’ve been toying with an idea:
What if AI could automatically check your content and designs — and tell you if they match your brand tone, voice, visuals, and even target audience?

It might look like this:

“This CTA is too generic for your bold brand voice.”
“Image doesn’t match Gen Z visual trends.”
“Logo placement violates your top-right rule.”
“This email sounds too formal for a DTC brand.”

The product idea:

âś… Upload your brand guidelines (colors, tone, keywords, logo rules)
âś… Run any content (text or visual) through AI
âś… Get a compliance score, clear feedback, and quick fixes
âś… Works across tools like Slack, Canva, Figma, Docs, etc.

💬 What I’d love to know from you:

  1. Have you faced this “brand drift” problem in your team or agency?

  2. Would you actually use something like this — or trust AI to help here?

  3. What would make it genuinely useful for you (not just a gimmick)?

I’m early — not pitching a product — just trying to validate the need before going all in.

If this sounds interesting, I’d love your thoughts. And if not, I'd love to hear that too 🙌
