👋 Hey Product Hunters!

Today we’re launching Scope — a visibility analytics tool built for the AI search era.

Imagine asking ChatGPT or Perplexity for product recommendations…

Now imagine your brand not being mentioned. That’s what Scope fixes.

🔍 Just enter your domain — we’ll show:

• Where your brand is (and isn’t) being recommended by AI

• How often your competitors are mentioned

• What questions lead to those answers

• And exactly how AI is mentioning your brand — with real examples

⚡ Try it free, no credit card needed.

If it helps — we’d love your upvote and feedback 🙌

This is super helpful for digital PR teams. Is there an option to export reports or dashboards?

Kong Dev

@janet_gardon Hey! Really glad to hear that — digital PR use cases are exactly where Scope shines 🙌

Exporting is on our near-term roadmap!

We’re working on options to let you:

• Export reports as PDF/CSV

• Share dashboards with clients or team members

• Automate weekly/monthly email reports

If you’ve got a format or workflow in mind, we’d love to hear it — your input would help shape it!

Given that LLMs are always evolving how do you make sure the results reflect the current model behavior and aren’t based on outdated or cached responses?

Kong Dev

@avery_bolton Hey! Awesome question — and you’re absolutely right to call that out 🙌

We actively monitor live responses across models like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini to reflect their current behavior, not cached or outdated outputs.

Since LLMs are evolving fast, Scope tracks visibility trends over time — so you can catch both sudden shifts and long-term changes in how your brand appears in AI-generated answers.

Happy to show you how it works if you’re curious!

What a fantastic tool for keeping an eye on brands. Can I set up alerts for when my domain pops up in new AI responses?

Kong Dev

@eli_john Hey! Great point — appreciate you digging into the details. And alerts are definitely on our roadmap!

Right now you can manually re-check visibility for your domain anytime,

but we’re working on automated tracking + alerts when your brand appears in new AI answers (or drops out 👀).

Would love to keep you posted as we roll this out!

Rdward Collin

@kong_dev Does Scope need API keys for any of the AI platforms?

Kong Dev

@rdward_collin Hi! Thanks for the great question 🙌

Nope — Scope doesn’t require your own API keys.

We run all the queries ourselves across platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, so you can just enter a domain and get visibility data instantly.

No setup, no API config — just results.

Aria Smith

Do you have a breakdown that shows which AI models (like GPT-4 or Claude) mention your brand the most or in a positive light?

Kong Dev

@aria_smith2 Hey! Really appreciate the thoughtful question 🙌

Yes — Scope already shows which AI model (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, etc.) mentions your brand,

and lets you browse each answer by model, query type, and position in the output.

We're also working on:

✅ Sentiment tagging

✅ Mention prominence (top vs mid vs footer)

✅ Trends over time by model

Excited to go deeper here — thanks for the nudge!

Jack Foster

Will Scope eventually provide alerts or automated reports when there are changes in visibility?

Kong Dev

@jack_foster2 Hey! Great question — and yes, this is already in motion 🙌

Scope actually tracks AI visibility daily behind the scenes, so we can detect when your brand appears, disappears, or changes position in key answers.

We’re now working on turning that into automated alerts , so you’ll be the first to know when something shifts — or when a competitor pops up 👀

Let us know if you’d like early access to the alerts!

I tried Scope and it gave me some surprising insights our brand’s presence was much lower than I thought. The interface is clean.

Camille Mcintyre

AI visibility might be influenced by training data. How does Scope deal with inconsistencies in how ChatGPT and Perplexity might describe the same brand?

Kong Dev

@camille_mcintyre Hey! Really insightful question — thank you for bringing that up 🙌

You’re absolutely right: AI visibility is shaped by both training data and real-time retrieval behaviors, and different models like ChatGPT and Perplexity can describe the same brand in totally different ways.

Scope tackles this by:

• Comparing responses across multiple models side by side

• Surfacing inconsistencies in how brands are mentioned or omitted

• Highlighting model-specific trends and patterns over time

We don’t assume one answer is “correct” — instead, Scope helps you spot gaps, biases, or opportunities across the AI landscape.

If you’d like a sample side-by-side breakdown, we’re happy to share!

Tim David

It is amazing @kong_dev Do you indicate which sources the AI models used when generating the brand mentions?

Kong Dev

@tim_david22 Hey Tim! Really appreciate the kind words 🙌

Right now, most AI models don’t expose exact source URLs used in their answers — especially ChatGPT and Claude, which rely more on internal knowledge than live web retrieval.

That said, Scope does show:

• Which model made the mention

• The exact phrasing used

• In some cases (like Perplexity), we also surface any linked sources provided in the AI response

We’re also exploring ways to estimate source influence over time — would love your thoughts if that’s something you’d find valuable!

Loved using this!! Congrats on the launch.
