The Charging Reminder is a location-contextual function that reminds you to put your ELF at charging whenever you are in a charging friendly location. The Adaptive Lights sense the ambient light and switch on and off for better visibility and safety. Many other intelligent functions will be added to the following software updates. Range vs. Weight One of the top 3 most asked questions about scooters specs is about its range. That is why there is a marketing gimmick driven war on range specs. What most of the riders don’t know is that adding more range means adding more battery cells, which will increase the weight considerably. Thus, we decided not to enter into this silly war by compromising on weight for the sake of specs, but try to educate our customers against the low battery anxiety syndrome. Based on our tests we noticed that almost all riders are comfortable to lift a scooter that weighs between 25 and 30 pounds. Also, the statistics show that riding a scooter more than 20 miles a day is very unlikely. We worked on making the frame lighter and adding more cells without crossing the 30 limits. Built from light magnesium alloys and automotive grade aluminum and weighing only 27.5 pounds, Elf is easy to fold and lift into your car trunk instead of spending time at the gym. With a magnesium frame lighter than other scooters, we also managed to fit more cells into a slim body. Also, by adding a Smart Battery Management in the equation we managed to get a 20+ miles range without compromising on weight. The layer of software manages all the scooter functionality for the best performance and battery life to suit the way you ride. Your Elf was stolen? We all have more or less experienced anxiety when we leave our precious property out of our sight. This is why we have built-in serious Anti-Shenanigans Tech in our products. You will know your Elf+ location anytime using the ‘Find My Scooter’ feature from the Scooterson App. The anti-tampering alarm will send you a notification on your phone each time someone tries any shenanigans with your Elf+. Along with the classic black and white finishes. We made this easy and simple by giving you full control from Scooterson App. When someone requests access to use your Elf the cloud-based sharing management system will send you a notification to ask you to grant access from the App. When your Elf is away, you can find it and track it on the map. Best Support with Remote Diagnosis. Although your Elf comes with a year warranty, our customer support is always available to assist you even after the warranty period is over. We also have an integrated Remote Diagnosis. This way our engineers are able to conclude the issues faster without further ado and shorten the service turnaround time. By the time your scooter reaches the service shop, the necessary part will already be arranged. OTA (Over-the-air) Updates. Another use of Elf’s connectivity via its own embedded LTE cellular module is the Over-The-Air Update. The SIM Card is included and comes with Free Connected Service for 1 year. Respect for privacy.
