tldr: GitHub’s built-in repo analytics sucks, so I built a better one

Hi PH 👋

As a maintainer of several open-source projects, I’ve always wanted to understand my users more. GitHub’s built-in traffic page only shows limited data from the past 14 days, which isn’t enough for long-term insights. This is why I built Repohistory, an analytics platform for GitHub repo without 14-day limit.

After your first sign-in, Repohistory will start helping you fetch and save data every day. You can then see your repo data like star growth, views and clones and referrer sites all in beautiful visualization. If you are also an open-source maintainer, give it a try. Hope it can help you understand your user more!
