There are few automated aggregation sites available to curate the jobs posted in the Hacker News Who is hiring? thread, but I want to take the aggregation one step further and wanted to provide the good quality remote jobs by handpicking them
I’ve been working on this for the last couple of months, collecting remote jobs from HN Who is hiring threads that’s getting released every month.
🤔 Problem
There are hundreds of remote jobs posted on the HN hiring post. Here are the problems I find
- Difficult to find which ones are 100% remote
- Some of them having some sort of restrictions like country/timezones
- Some saying remote and don’t actually hiring remote workers
- Skills are missing in the actual post
đź’ˇ Solution
We spent more than 12 hours screening, verifying and filtering hundreds of remote jobs posted on HN. We handpicked each and every one of them to make sure we included only the 100% remote jobs. So it can save you time, energy, and frustration – and hopefully, help you find a job faster.
There are 14 different categories/skills to filter based on your expertise or interest.
This is ongoing work which I’m going to do over the next 2 weeks till the HN thread is frozen. Last month I’ve curated more than 154 remote jobs from the HN thread.
Everything is free đź‘Ź
I don't usually (as in never, I just had to make an account) review products or comment on other peoples work BUT I will say this:
Remote Leaf sends you remote jobs in an easy to digest format with DIRECT links to the job listing page. Most importantly they're RELEVANT. Also I've spoken to Abinaya a couple times, he is helpful and seems to be a cool guy.
Disclaimer: I've no affiliation with the project, I'm not being compensated for this review in any way. In fact I'm not even an active customer (Yet!) but I did take advantage of a 3 day trial to see what Remote Leaf could offer me.
Hey this is cool!
I know it's not much, but I wanted to give you a very small piece of feedback to improve your app. Most times I have a modal open on a web app I expect them to close when I click outside of it. It is kind of annoying for me to have to click on the filter again to close the filter modal or click the small "x" when I expand a job.
Thank you very much for your hard work!
