My thoughts on all things analytics. https://news.ycombinator.com/ite...
This looks well put together. The question I always have for analytics companies is how do you grow really really big?
@datarade Hi Kumar, good question and well thought out articles. I think that analytics by itself is indeed well established and hard to bring true innovation. Our focus is exactly the opposite of bringing you more data; we focus on bringing you that one insight + the best solution to it, which you'll be able to launch with one click. We've seen that companies are drowning in data. Even "actionable insights" are not always valuable because someone needs to act on them eventually.
In other words, most companies know they should optimize but the vast majority don't, or don't do it well. We want to bring you the entire conversion thinking process and execution in a fast, easy and powerful wrapper. Does that make sense?
@basez99 It makes sense, but doesn't necessarily answer how you'll grow really big. I'm thinking about competitors. Think about it, Segment and Mparticle exist. There's so many analytics companies, that tools even exist to install multiple ones to test out which is best for your landing page or app.
I don't think anyone will disagree with you on the notion of "core metric." as it is even an adage. Ycombinator has a specific essay about how you should put your core growth metric everywhere. So I think that view is not necessarily unique.. http://learn.onemonth.com/y-comb...
Now if you told me you could scan the topology of a landing page and indicate which metrics matter and what I should be A/B testing, then there might be something particularly useful and more than just a business, but instead a venture backable big business.
As a fellow founder who applauds your jump into the marketplace, I highly recommend coming up with an indomitably accurate answer to how you grow really big to outgun the 100's of competitors in the cut-throat analytics space.
I would recommend aggressively carving a niche out of landing page analytics where you can own 100% of the market. Instapage, xtensio, strikingly, populr.me could highly benefit from offering your analytics to their customers.
Onwards & Upwards! :)
Congrats! We've been using the service as proud early adopters and I love it.
What are your next milestones in terms of product? It is interesting to see how user behavior is being analyzed, I think your data and understandings can be useful to new startups, before they fail with their UX.
@yoavush Thanks Yoav! We have a VERY exciting new version coming up. The main part you can expect is having ease of use that you've probably never experienced before, wrapped in a sexy UI. We want to bring any marketer to be CRO superwoman in the shortest time possible and with the least amount of redundant elbow grease. We also want to empower the digital marketer to be able to execute entire loops from idea to execution without using external resources and still have it look good and provide powerful results. Expect many features around those focus areas.
hey @basez99 - this looks pretty cool. Will definitely try it out. I've done a lot of similar tests/experiments via Optimizely, but I definitely see how this makes the life of marketers easier.
Excited to see what your learnings post-beta will be and the final decision on pricing. Good luck!
@himynameisivo Thank you Ivo. Most of our customers work with Optmizely or some kind of A/B testing tool, it's very complimentary actually.
Happy to share our learning.
Great hunt Jonathan!
For the savvy, tool-hungry website owners that already use a suite of tools, why should they give Reactful a look? Which tools best complement Reactful, and vice versa? Can we expect any upcoming integrations eith popular tools such as Intercom, Jaco, etc?
@jfleits Thanks for the question Jared! Reactful doesn't exist in a vacuum, actually, most of our customers have some kind of stack going. Reactful focuses on automatically finding that "one thing" that could help you get thing and let you execute it quickly and with no hastle. It can come on top of almost anything you are currently running.
Expect integrations with all these great tools you mentioned and many more. These are natural extensions of what we're building.
Hi Everyone,
I'm Jonathan, the CEO and co-founder of Reactful. I'm super excited to share the first version of Reactful with you. We've built Reactful to help marketers and growth hackers to optimize sites in the easiest, fastest way possible. Reactful's focus is on real time optimization; reading visitors' digital body language and reacting with a corresponding "visual change" in real time. The range and power of the behaviors we use as triggers, and the library of potential "Reactions" are quite unique. After mostly working with big brands, we're happy to share our beta with you. Feel free to sign up if you'd like to see a demo.
Looks cool! Who's the intended audience for this? Is it more for brands, or will the pricing be suitable for individual marketers/startup entrepreneurs?
@donte_ll Thanks for asking Donte. We are enabling pricing tiers that should fit most startups. Brands require support and integrations that most small sites don't need, which lets us do that.
