Having to screen share a lot on Zoom, those floating controls turned from useful to very much annoying as I can't click on browser or text editor tabs behind them.
Hiding them doesn't help as a single Esc key press brings them back. And I have to press Esc a lot as a software developer.
So I'm sharing ZoomHider with you: a macOS app that can hide those Zoom floating controls for good.
Pressing Esc won't bring them back anymore, but there's still a useful hotkey to do that when you need it: Right Option + Z
The app also has a simple menu bar interface so you can pause hiding if needed.
