quip - gui for OpenRouter

Hey Product Hunters! I am excited to annouce quip, a GUI for OpenRouter! What is quip exactly? quip is a User Interface that uses OpenRouter's API to talk to AI's through a chat interface! quip has no system prompts and is literally just the AI out of the box! There is currently 25+ AI's and more are always being added! With quip, all you need to do to get started is get your API key from OpenRouter! If that sounds confusing, don't worry, there is a guide in the settings on the site. Why should I use quip? Well for starters, quip is completely free! You do not have to pay anything (even for the OpenRouter API) Why you ask? Well this is because OpenRouter has a selection of free models that cost nothing for the user to use, yes, you read that correctly, it costs nothing! Those are the only models you can find on our website (currently)! Whilst we may expand later on paid models, for now, the only models you can use on the site are free models! Another reason that you should use quip is because everything is local, you do not need an account (apart from an OpenRouter account) so you never have to worry about those tedious passwords, because it is quick and easy to get straight to chatting with your favourite AI's!
