Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Justin, co-founder and CEO @ Quidli. We’re big believers in a future of work powered by crypto and web3 tech. But we also know major changes don’t happen overnight. This is why we’re building hosted crypto micro on-ramps directly into popular Web 2.0 work and collaboration apps (like Discord!). We help remote teams and online communities to build and scale themselves by sharing recognition of top contributors using crypto as p2p rewards directly in-app. Our web app and Slack app have powered 500+ orgs to share >$1.1m in crypto rewards. And this “Discord app” has been the most requested feature by far that we’ve gotten from users. How can you use Quidli for Discord? 👾 Building a DAO is hard! so start small with token rewards. We shared an early version of the Discord app with several groups to experiment with, including notable crypto orgs such as SporkDAO, dlab, iExec and Cryptoast. Applied use cases we saw: Slinging tokens during a hackathon to reward active participants; enabling 360° recognition among community members; and sharing bounties for promoting the community on social media. How do we use Quidli at Quidli? 🦑 Our team loves to dogfood 🤣 We’re Slack based (remote since Day 1) and largely use Quidli on Slack to recognize each other for major achievements (ex. pushing new features into prod ahead of schedule) and kudos for jobs well done (ex. onboarding new users). We think fake virtual points and gift cards to random vendors are BS, and prefer to be incentivized in crypto!
