Lofi rooms in Pragli are a dedicated space for you and your team to listen to music together without talking. These rooms allow participants to enjoy each other's company while focusing on deep work.

πŸ‘‹ Hey Product Hunt, I’m Vivek, the creator of Lofi Rooms and co-founder of Pragli. Lofi music has been exploding in popularity (and for good reason). It's the perfect background music for focusing and getting lost in your work. I started listening to lofi music everyday on YouTube while I worked. What surprised me was how many users were listening to the same music at the same time. It's a great way for people to feel passively connected while working - and that's when I realized, why not build it into Pragli so coworkers can do the same? Here's how it works: πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» You simply create a Lofi room within Pragli that's public to your team 🎧 Select a Lofi stream station 🎢 Then, Lofi music from that station streams to all room participants! To make the experience more relaxing/immersive, we play subtle GIFs (sakura and Tokyo night cityscape) in the background. Future modifications that we want to make: - Increase GIF catalog - User control for which GIF is playing - Display user reactions to songs - Add different music genres and stations like Soma FM Are there any features that you would like to see added to Lofi rooms? Best, Vivek

I just thought of putting background music during a less formal meeting, and when I searched for some keywords I came across this! I really like Lofi Rooms! Great idea! Thank you. To use something similar during a meeting, or collaboration work, it needs to have the ability to speak over it, while also limiting itself to instrumental music only ideally. I do get the fact that your implementation so far is to share music experience and not to adorn a conversation.
