Decentralized API for Ethereum — Pocket Network's Gateway. Works like a regular endpoint

Pocket Network has just launched their gateway product. This makes using a decentralized API for Ethereum pretty simple.
If you don't have the dev hours to integrated directly, but still want to support decentralization and its benefits, give this a try.

How does this compare to alchemy or infura? Also, do they provide supportive APIs like webhook notifications for smart contract events?

@abraham_elmahrek think it as a decentralized infura, for any blockchain. You can route requests (currently for ETH) through POKTs' decentralized infrastructure. How decentralized? Individuals/entities are incentivized to run nodes (full ETH nodes, and other blockchain projects full nodes) with crypto-economic incentives for running those nodes via the POKT network. As more nodes come online, more and more system resiliency and decentralization.

@abraham_elmahrek @bryan_doreian yes, and at the moment, Pocket will only work with standard RPC API's

I learned about Pocket Network when it was still in the R&D phases years ago through my connection with the CEO Michael. A few years later, the stars aligned, and Mike brought me on to this project to help with ops and comms work. Pocket cuts through the B.S and provides actual utility to Ethereum and public blockchain networks, who have since there launch, suffered from a decrease in full node counts and a centralization of the ones that are left into single service providers whose sustainability relies heavily on major FAANG clouds. Not anymore.

Pocket Network is essential for the crypto industry to move to the next phase maturity.

Very excited about a replacement for Infura built with a decentralized approach
