Hello, Good peeps at ProductHunt! We are thrilled to introduce you to PleasantFish, a job recruitment platform for top tech professionals.
Pleasant Fish is a job marketplace for top professionals. It allows them to showcase their skills and capabilities (reviewed through their coworkers) and apply to the matching jobs relevant to their skill-set. Its a reverse of GlassDoor as it gives insights about potential candidates and their performances at their previous workplaces reviewed only through their coworkers anonymously.
How it works?
- Candidates lists down their current skill-set and ask their colleagues to give them private/anonymous reviews.
- We provide candidates with relevant jobs based on their skill-set.
- Employers/Recruiters can see get insights about their potential candidates from their coworkers.
- Candidates also improve upon their skills through custom skills-related content network handpicked from best sources.

Previously, we were just a "professional feedback platform" where professionals could just get reviewed through 4 questionnaires by their current colleagues on: Professionalism, Collaboration, Personality & Leadership qualities. We realised that we could offer our users more than that and introduced the new feature to make their experience worth-while on PleasantFish. We have now completely rebranded ourselves as "Job Recruitment Platform for Tech Professionals". The features that we have introduced are as follows:
1. Improved Feedback System: We enhanced our feedback system with skills feedback which is a very important feature in any feedback system. Users can now add different skills to their profile(example ruby , rails, marketing, development, engineering etc) and can get reviewed by them from their colleagues
2. Skills content discovery network: We introduced skill discovery system which allows users to :
- Get the latest top quality curated content based on their skills in their personalized newsfeed.
- See the activity of their colleagues what they are reading/sharing/saving/liking
- Subscribe to any skill and get its in their newsfeed.
- Maintain Save for later/Favorites lists of articles.
- Ability to add articles and share with their network from any source.
3. Relevant Jobs: We also implemented a job portal with relevancy integrated. Users can see different job openings and can see how much jobs are relevant to them. This is calculated:
- User skills matched with the skills required on the job.
- User feedback score for those skills.
- User feedback on their qualities such as leadership, collaboration, personality and leadership.
4. Integrations with Google, github and facebook. One click signups.
