Plavoro is an idea I've been playing around with since I wrote my first iOS app back in 2011 called "Recipe Cart". I am a big fan of cooking at home from recipes, but I've always been annoyed by the process of meal and grocery planning from multiple recipe sources. Even worse, there's nothing I hate more than the one-off ingredients that cost extra and take up a lot of space in the pantry. Apps like this always have two big pain points. The data entry for the recipes themselves, and keeping your pantry inventory up to date. Plavoro has completely solved the data entry problem by making it possible to use an image or any URL to import and digitize a recipe. No need to adjust, tag or categorize anything. It's all done for you. This makes the import process painless. Plavoro also enables you to modify your inventory from everywhere in the app, and the roadmap has lots of plans for improving this (pantry photos, receipt scanning). The analytics are pretty powerful as well, especially "Top Ingredients" which allows you to identify ingredients that would complete one or more recipes. It changes the game for me all the time when I use it. I built this on the web because I believe in open access to the data you're inputting. I love that I can use it from my desk when I am working to meal plan, then from my phone at the grocery store and finally on my Echo Show 15 using Amazon Silk while cooking.
