by not compromising a picture you will need much storage and storage isnt cheap, how do you solve this issue at a free tier?
@jonassc Great question. The purpose of this PH-launch was to determine if there was a demand for our product. In the next step, we will implement the feedback and further features. Parallel, we are working on monetization strategies because, as you said, storing high-resolution pictures is not cheap. But a free tier plan will always be an option in order to share your images fast with your friends.☺️

@study_rishishah Thanks for the congrats, we store all data in aws, which handles encription for us per default.

Congratulations on the launch! It seems like there is an issue. I currently use Google Photos and Dropbox for the same purpose. I'm curious, does it have the ability to sync with my camera?

While Pixed offers a seamless photo sharing experience, it could benefit from more diverse privacy settings to provide granular control over who can access certain albums. This would cater to users looking for a more personalized sharing environment. Let me know if you think the same.
@patpijanowski Yes we agree, we were trying to make the upload process as easy as possible first, now we will lay our focus on improving other aspects of the application including privacy settings.

@jo_munker Thank you🙌! We have planned both a free tier and a paid tier. We are currently evaluating the cost of storage and our services to determine what can be offered for free, while certain features we have planned will require a subscription.
