Hello Product Hunters 👋

I'm excited to share the latest from Phare, which has seen significant growth and development over the past two and a half years. I've reworked the monitoring infrastructure that now runs on 100% European-owned hardware, and introduced several new features, with **status pages** being the standout addition.

📄 Status Pages

Display all your monitors on a fully customizable status page. Use your own domain name and branding, write incident post-mortems, and let users subscribe to incident notifications via RSS/Atom feeds. This is the fastest available status page, powered by European cloud infrastructure and renewable energy.

💸 90% more affordable

Buying a Phare subscription is now cheaper than ever, starting at only €5 per months, making it a competitive alternative to self-hosted solutions. No tiered plans, no feature gating, only pay for what you use.

🌍 New monitoring regions

All uptime monitoring regions run on an upgraded infrastructure. Expect lower latency, improved efficiency, and even more reliable insights, now also available in Australia, Thailand, and Brazil.

🟢 Embed badges

Show your status on your landing page, GitHub repository, or wherever you like with sleek customizable embed badges.

🤖 API

The new API, currently in beta, allows you to interact programmatically with the Phare platform. Create custom uptime monitoring flows or explore endless possibilities with your own code.

⚙️ New integrations

Use outgoing webhooks to seamlessly connect Phare to third-party tools, or build your own integrations for enhanced functionality.

Pushover and Telegram can now be used to receive alert notifications, on top of the previously existing Slack, Discord, and emails channels.

🎁 Phare for good

A give-back program has been created, offering an extended free plan to nonprofit organizations and open-source projects and support their mission.

Love the tool, love the copywriting (bedroom startups, CFO special..), love the launch chatbot ad (clever !)

Congrats for your launch @lightkeeper !

@barnabed Thank you so much for the kind words, I was tired of making a bland product, there's already too many tools with corporate-friendly copywriting. I still have a lot of pages to rework, but I'm confident that's the right direction, and it's a lot more fun for me too ✌️

@lightkeeper I just signup, UI is also really nice and clear. Congrats

Launching soon!

Congrats on the launch! The platform's focus on team collab during incidents is a big plus imo. How does Phare support communication between teams? are there built in chat tools, or comment features?

Nicolas Beauvais

Thank you @pranay12, team members collaborate directly on the incident timeline by posting comments which are added to the incident's timeline. You can get alerted of new comments on your preferred tool: Slack, Discord, Telegram, Email, Pushover.

How customizable are the desighn options for the status page?

Nicolas Beauvais

Hey@manjesh_yadav1, great question. All the essentials are here, you can add your logo with a link to your website, customize the favicon, title and meta description for search engine if you wish to index the page. And of course which monitor you would like to show on the page.

In terms of UI feel, there isn't much you can do outside customizing the color palette. I think the status page is quite simple so it should fit with most website, but it could certainly benefit from more options.

Is there anything in particular you would like to see?
