I bought the previous version, and I must say the quality was not great & the price high. Maybe you have improved it but I wouldn't buy again
This looks extremely useful. I currently use AirPods Pro, a Nintendo Switch, and a Pixel with USB-C charging. I also have times where I need to connect the Switch or phone to my MacBook Pro using a double USB-C connection. This cable will basically reduce the 4+ cables I used to just one, which is really amazing! I just ordered one on Indiegogo, and hopefully come back to write a positive review.
Main question is, how is this different from the inCharge 6? Besides the appearance, it would have been nice if the page listed the exact differences and upgrades this has from the older version.

Here are the differences between inCharge 6 and inCharge X:
- inCharge X can charge up to 100W, inCharge 6 up to 15W
- inCharge X has much more inner copper wires and Aramid fiber, to increase bending resistance and durability
- inCharge X has a protective cap, to keep the connectors safe from keys and other sharp objects in your pockets
- inCharge X is more case-friendly with iPhone and MicroUSB devices, compared to inCharge 6 (i.e. it works with the OtterBox Defender case)

@lorenzoferraris thanks for the info! Looks like a big improvement. Another quick question - are you planning to ever incorporate some kind of micro-SD card reader into this? It would be awesome if this could be added as a modular add-on or just a new feature in a future inCharge product. This current product solves all my connection problems, but my one and only problem remaining with wires/dongles is having to carry around an SD card reader! This is also a huge problem I know a lot of people have, especially since more and more laptops no longer have SD card readers in them.
Hi Kiran, that’s a good point. We have evaluated this option, but so far we haven’t found a good enough modular way to incorporate it, without changing the current design, functions and price tag. The very short cables are great. Each and every longer inCharge cable broke. This was the backer version though so they may have improved.

Looks amazing! I own the previous model (incharge 6) which is great, but I think I'll be getting this as well.
