@clarklab I see you point, but it's possible that, counterintuitively, tech hardware will start to get more and more divergent, where products spin off into their own little ecosystems. @clarklab There's a conversation to be had about how context specific hardware can decrease the user's cognitive load and how it can improve overall experience. Donald Norman's book "Emotional Design" does a nice job with the idea. But really, we think making gifs with OTTO is just more fun :)
@nickgrosvenor Agreed the counter intuitive part is that for years we've been telling ourselves that people WANT convergence, but the reality of the situation is much more subtle. Convergence is awesome for some things, but horrible for others.
