I found Matt & Dima while I was lurking on Twitter - and boy! They've made the app I always wanted. I'm a storyteller at heart - I'm the Dungeon Master for my home game for the past 3-4 years and I love telling stories. But, when I had to tell stories to my li'l girl, I was stuck. I did muck about with ChatGPT to make something, but there was too much friction. I bit the bullet and tried out Oscar and within seconds, it gave me a solid story that I could read out to my baby girl. In fact, the story was so good, that my baby girl - who I called 'my little goblin', declared herself to be 'the li'l witch'. Stories are powerful. With Oscar, they are easy too. @marko_d_ Yes, we are.. Its just that we need to test the stories first. Since our main product ist the story, we always need to make sure that it makes sense when written in another language. GPT-4 is extremely good already, but still makes mistakes here and there if it writing in another language than English.

Such a nice idea @dima_rubanov, my daughter loved the personalization bit :)
@mnewme In fact now we have a way to get my daughter to write the summary of the stories (to improve her listening and writing skills), which is she gets money to buy 5 stories when she writes summary of at least one. Putting it out here so that you can think of ways to actually add incentives to kids and that might take away the payment hurdle :)
