@5harath Thanks Sharath, one of our DevRels is building a PH integration as we speak ๐Ÿ˜‡ https://twitter.com/_phzn/status...

This is awesome! @_gw Signing up immediately. Will there also be a plugin or a way to integrate chat support in a website?
Gareth Wilson
@giri Wow, great! Depending on the chat product, the quickest way is probably via our official Zapier integration (https://zapier.com/apps/orbit/in...) and you can flag those you're most interested in us building here: https://ideas.orbit.love/integra...

Clearly this launch went well based on the fact that I was unable to add the discord bot required for the integration as its in 100 servers and not yet verified. Congrats ?makers , but plz ser, contact discord to get the bot situated. <3
Anna Grigoryan
Orbit is the tool I use for my Twitter (shocking I know :D ) and I sneak peak into our server analytics. Their data doesn't feel confusing or overwhelming. Just things you can act on and improve in your community. 10 out of 10 recommend for any discord community.
Martyn Davies
@angrigoryan__ Thanks Anna!

Iโ€™ve been using Orbit for a while now and so far it looks great! Can you share with us a little bit more about your future product plans?
Gareth Wilson
@nimrodkramer Thanks Nimrod, pleased to hear that! Yes, we actually provided some details in this post: https://orbit.love/blog/enabling.... Let me know if you have any questions ๐Ÿ’œ

Hey folks, I'm one of the founders of Orbit, and I'm happy to answer any questions about the product, founding a startup, or building community-driven companies. We onboarded nearly 3,000 users during our beta, and fed those learnings right back into the product, so I'm super excited to get more ideas and feedback from the PH community!
Ivanna Wendel

Hi everyone! Creators and companies alike are increasingly understanding the strategic value of community to grow their audience or their business. But given the fragmented nature of communities today, it's difficult for community builders to know whatโ€™s working and whatโ€™s not across all the channels they use. Orbit gives you a complete view of your community, no matter where your members are engaging, and equips you with tools to proactively engage members and key segments. Orbit is like mission control for a community, unlocking new insights about who are the most active and influential members, which channels are most important, and where they can improve their community programs. The result is a better experience for community members as well as a deeper understanding of ROI for community builders and business leaders. For individual contributors building community, it provides actionable insights into: * who is new within their community and they should reach out to * what community members are at risk of churn or have gone dormant * who their champions are who should be nurtured and encouraged * which users could become champions with the right support or recognition * where to run events or which platforms to spend more time on * which topics their community is interested in and they should produce content about This extends to related functions too, flagging potential case studies for marketing, new potential leads for sales, potential new hires for talent teams, and who they can reach out to for product feedback. For leadership, it enables them to know if their community strategy is working, where to focus their resources and what the impact of their community investments is having on their business.

Ruben Wolff
Seems like a much needed product. Could you please talk me through how to use it and what I can find there?
Martyn Davies
@rubenwolff Hey Ruben, thanks for your question. We've just put out a 5 minute overview video that gives good insight into what Orbit is and how to get started using it, take a look:
Andrea Cavagna
The best discovery I've made in months for my open-source project Leapp. Orbit is definitely the best way I found to track and reward members inside the community! Also, the orbit Blog is rich in content and technics to improve community-building skills
Patrick Woods
@andrea_cavagna Love to hear this ๐Ÿ’œ thanks for sharing!
N Chandrasekhar Ramanujan
Hey! @rosiesherry this looks great! We are a small but growing SaaS startup about to launch soon on Product Hunt, and we're building a community on Reddit too! However I wasn't able to find any mention of that here? Will Reddit be supported any time soon? Further, will it be possible to link individual conversations in a community for example, to issues in Linear or tasks in Asana?
Martyn Davies
@rosiesherry @ncresq Hey, Reddit is supported via one of our Community Integrations, you can find out more about that here: https://docs.orbit.love/docs/orb...
Tayler O'Dea
Just want to say these guys are incredible and amazing team with a stellar platform! Shoutout to Patrick and Gareth for an amazing launch!!
Gareth Wilson
@tayler2412 Thanks for the support and for all the help, Tayler!
ayush gupta
a truly useful tool for the future of socializing and community interactions. Definitely curious to know what scenarios this will be used in and peopleโ€™s different takes on it.
Gareth Wilson
@gupta_ayushh Thanks Ayush - we can't wait to see either!
Karan Gupta
Hi everyone! I am new to Product hunt and came across Orbit. I signed up as a user and I absolutely loved the design and interface because it is very clean and easy to use. Although I had a question regarding the motivation behind providing a feature of Github integration in the product, is it because Orbit is also targeting tech companies/startups as potential customer base?
Gareth Wilson
@karan_gupta1 That's right. While Orbit is being used by community builders and devrel teams running all kinds of communities, we've a number of Open Source companies and projects who use GitHub and want to know who is actively contributing not just code, but helping out in other ways too.
David Ryan
Been a fan of this team since meeting some of them at events around San Francisco. Big fan of their work prior (Keen, Algolia, etc). Great to see this hitting the Product Hunt world!
Erin Mikail Staples
There are few folks I've learned that truly *get* community. It's something that's hard to describe, doesn't scale, is time and labor-intensive. The Orbit team gets community. And they're continuing to invest their time and energy in the people who truly get community, incorporate user feedback so heavily, and educate others on what it means to have healthy communities. Congrats to all the team! So well deserved!
Gareth Wilson
@erinmikail Thanks Erin, we appreciate the support!
Ulrich Sossou
Hi everyone! I'm an engineer on the Orbit team. It's been a great experience to work with our beta users. Looking forward to more fun as more and more people use Orbit. Don't hesitate to send us feedback!
Thierry Dupont
looks awesome and definitely will check in depth. Quick question: any plans on providing an easy Segment.com integration? Thx.
Gareth Wilson
@thierrythings Thanks Thierry - you read our minds, that's next up for us!
