Look. 9 people talking simultaneously on Discord and the audio is fine.
After yet another Zoom call and a Google Hangout where people cannot talk over each other without audio distortion I accidentally bumped up into our last years stream on twitch with 9 (NINE) people talking over each other and it is fine: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/856... <-- that's a particularly intense moment of Among Us game to demo what I mean. Upon streaming I did some equalization and VST effects in OBS, but it is mostly Discord that does the magic with audio. It just puzzles me if Discord can have nice audio, why cannot Zoom... Good audio is critical to remote work and efficient collaboration. And mute/unmute is just a tedious workaround. No?
Post Clubhouse #startup pitch
Surprise! Surprise! is a new social network that connects you to a celebrity and you learn who they were only after 40 min in the voice chat. I am not working on this ;-) But I think Clubhouse will nudge creators and TV show producers to try adapt Clubhouse experience or twist it to their formats. What are some of the Clubhouse-inspired ideas you folks liked or cringed upon?
