I built Screener.co to democratize access to institutional grade tools for fundamental analysis. It is the first platform to make advanced global equity screening (off a rich fundamentals data set) accessible to individual investors, financial advisors, and others who would balk at the price of a Bloomberg or Capital IQ terminal. I wanted a tool like this, to screen global markets for value opportunities, and decided to build it! It is a very flexible platform, and one of the most rewarding things to see has been the application of the platform to investment strategies that I didn't foresee when I started development.
