Customize your brand in minutes and copy-paste components from the interactive docs. Build responsive web apps with accessible components and automatic theming. In sync with Once UI’s state of the art Figma library.
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Lorant, founder of Once UI. We built a design system and UI library specifically for Next.js so that developers of all experience levels can build beautiful apps in record time.
Here’s what you can expect from Once UI:
❖ Lightning fast setup: Get started in minutes thanks to a visual interface for customization.
❖ Theme management: Light/dark themes, accessible colors - it's all built-in.
️❖ Powerful token system: Fine-tune your brand identity and create responsive layouts.
❖ Accessibility first: Build UIs with accessible components out of the box.
Once UI comes with an interactive documentation site for a seamless developer experience. Now you can focus on innovation instead of repetitive coding tasks.
Try it out, and let us know what you think! We’d love to hear your feedback.
One of the reasons why I think Once UI is so valuable is that it caters to developers of all levels of experience. You can benefit from it if you're:
- New to front-end development and want to build like the pros (including back-end developers and designers)
- A front-end dev who wants to save time
- Building a project and want someone else to take care of aesthetics, responsiveness, and accessibility
It's been such a great project to work on because of the collaboration between engineering and design, making sure we cover all angles.
This looks slick, but I wonder how it compares to other UI libraries out there. 🤔 The tight integration with Figma and automatic theming could be time-savers. Responsive, accessible components are table stakes these days but still great to see. Nice work shipping this, Lorant and Zsofia!
🙏 What an incredible gift to the Next.js community. I'm curious to hear experiences from early adopters.
Thanks for stopping by, @nibalic! I believe this resource is already invaluable for many developers, especially those seeking a lightweight set of customizable, atomic components. The real power, however, will be unleashed soon as we introduce higher-level building blocks. Stay tuned!
