The experience to unlock NotionMail early is super fun, major props to the team! I wanted to try to capture the experience here but I think it's a lot better to simply scroll their Twitter and try it out yourself! Really well done and got me to use the product instantly. I'm curious if I'll enjoy this more than my gmail and SuperHuman experience.

No mention of security and any use of your content as training data in the pitch. I want to know about that first. I want to love Notion as I use the app and the Calendar, but this lack of focus on security worries me.

@erburgess Notion Mail does not train on any data. It's also GDPR & CCPA compliant + HIPAA and SOC 2 (Type 1) certified.

@jason_ginsberg Thank you for that response. I'm all in to join! Plus, Credtent.org will reach out with our certification for being an ethical tool.

Interesting product but feels a little buggy and slow especially when switching between accounts. There is no way to see the emails from multiple accounts in one place. Switching between accounts feels like reopening the app. Also, when I am in one account I don't see the number of mails from another account. There are no push notifications but assuming that will be implemented soon.

I wish there were an easier way to view emails of multiple accounts quickly without needing almost to relaunch the app. Apps like Apple Mail, thunderbird, etc do this so much better.

I would say it is a decent app but a long way to go before I consider this as my default mail app.

Notion Mail is off to a strong start – it’s like email reimagined for people who already live in Notion.

The interface is clean, minimal, and very on-brand for Notion fans. It doesn’t just feel like another inbox; it’s more like a smart workspace that just happens to handle email. I love that you can organize messages using properties, tags, and custom views – almost like turning your inbox into a database.

It’s still early, and right now it only works with Gmail, which might be a dealbreaker for some. And while the integration with Notion Calendar is smooth, I’m hoping for deeper links to databases and tasks soon. But the potential is huge – especially with features like AI-powered Autopilot and Smart Scheduling already baked in.

If you’re already deep in the Notion ecosystem, this might just be the email client you’ve been waiting for.

I use your product daily! This has a lot of potential. Keep going!
