Hey everybody! NomadKit dev here. I've been fully nomadic for a little over a year now, and have learned about a ton of useful services. NomadKit is a HackerParadise side-project (our main gig is organizing trips like these) - we figured if we were finding awesome products and deals for our participants, why not extend that to nomads at large!
Work: There are a bunch of great resources - WorkFrom.co and a bunch of other sites for finding places to work from (I think you get WorkFrom VIP via NomadKit)
Where to stay: Airbnb, hostels, and monthly hotels work pretty well, depending on your lifestyle.
The toughest part, in my experience, is finding people to hang out with, battling travel loneliness. For that, there's #nomads in certain cities, and trips like HackerParadise.
@imjaredz@alexeymk Hey Jared! I can answer that for you! At Hacker Paradise, we really stress work-life balance! That being said it's important to realize that being a digital nomad is a lifestyle not a vacation, so you need to keep up with daily routines regarding eating, fitness, spending money etc. Because we travel together, it's much easier to stay focused around a group of creative, ambitious, like-minded people! In terms of finding places to work, we typically rent out space at a local co-working space and occasionally work out of cafes! :) Hope that helps!
