👋 Hi everyone! I'm Nikhil, the maker of Nexus. Today, I’m excited to officially launch Nexus - a tool I built to help everyone easily analyze their connected data and collaborate with AI data agents on your data In my previous startup, analyzing connected data files was always the toughest part. The only options I had was to upload them to a generic LLM and talk with a black box. Every time I dealt with multiple files, I always had to explain the relationship. I was spending time explaining to the LLM more than doing my work :( Nexus is the data agent tool I wish I had. 🚀 What’s included in this early version (Only available for Mac/Apple Users - Windows coming soon!): ✅ Automated semantic understanding - Nexus automatically understands the relationship between your files. Currently only works for CSV and Excel files. 📊 The data analysis co-pilot that auto updates context and gives you full context control 📝 Select edits through CMD+K on specific rows ✅ A simple tabular view that works for csv/xlsx files with natural language search enabled. If you work with data (especially connected), Nexus is designed for you. Nexus is still early, so I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or questions - I’ll be around all day to chat. Thanks for checking it out! – Nikhil

This 'cursor for your data' concept is genius! Nexus completely removes the friction of moving data around, making in-depth analysis and focused edits genuinely effortless.

Nexus sounds like a game-changer, Nikhil! The ability to analyze connected data with AI-powered collaboration without constantly uploading and downloading files is such a time-saver. I love how semantic understanding works automatically to grasp the relationships between files.
Are there any plans to support additional file formats in the future, like JSON or SQL databases? That would make it even more versatile for data analysts and developers.

As a data analyst working with multiple datasets and teams, Nexus has revolutionized our workflow. Been using it for the past week, and it's like having a brilliant data scientist who never sleeps working alongside you.

The "vibe analysis" feature is more powerful than it sounds - yesterday, I fed it a complex customer interaction dataset, and it immediately identified emotional patterns and communication trends we'd missed in traditional analysis. It even suggested correlations between customer sentiment and specific product features that led to some valuable product development insights.

What really sets it apart is the connected data editing. No more downloading, editing, and re-uploading files. I was able to clean and transform a messy dataset while my colleague simultaneously analyzed the results - all in real-time. The AI suggestions for data cleaning are surprisingly context-aware and actually understand the business implications of different transformations.

Pro tip: Use their selective analysis feature for large datasets. Instead of processing everything at once, you can have the AI focus on specific segments or patterns you're interested in. The free tier is genuinely useful for getting started.

For any data professionals tired of juggling multiple tools and file versions, this is a game-changer. Would love to connect with other analysts using this - particularly interested in hearing how others are using the AI suggestions for data transformation pipelines.
