[Change-log] [Request for beta testers] Adding 2FA, Plaid, and more

First off, I'm looking to get a cohort of beta testers for the next development cycle! No cost to use the product, just would be curious about your feedback. If you are in this cohort I would give you 6months free once I actually launch. Feel free to post up below and I can give you more info, or contact me.

I added 2FA! Pretty self-explanatory, but adding 2FA for added security.

I added a new accounts view. This is the precursor of the soon to come "account overview".

Added Plaid support! This makes it easy to connect accounts and get transactions uploaded directly.

Augmented budgeting. This the first of a few steps, but making it easier to visualize budgets.

You can easily help drive what I build next! so feel free to let me know what you are missing!

Nice work!

Plaid support is rad! Unfortunately Canadian bank support for Plaid is pretty much non-existent 😢

One feature I'd love would be an easy way to re-categorize things in bulk. I have some credit card transactions that I wanted to move to a different category that were pretty much all the same. I can re-categorize them individually but it'd be really nice if I could move them in bulk (based on the transaction name being the same/similar).

Also a small usability quibble; it took me a second to realize that I had to click "Add Account" to upload more CC/bank statements.

@lagap RIP about the Canadian banks, I wonder if there is another provider to check out with more coverage. good to check out and thanks for the pointer!

WRT re-categorization -> the changes you make are memoized and then (in theory) used to recategorize subsequent transactions. it would look like this:

recategorize one transaction

-> go to account management -> select the account -> recategorize

@lagap also WRT the add account button, ill workshop that a bit! thanks for the call out!

Hey, I tried to add Belgian banks but it doesn't work, trying to add Belgian bank statements don't work either, I guess the problem lies in the transformation and translation, maybe having a template would work.

@ali_sahlolbei Hey Ali this is great feedback! I guess i'm learning that plaid is very America centric..

I should be able to support bank statements in other languages though, that sounds solvable.

I will work on that over the weekend and post up a reply once I get a chance to work on it a bit!
