Hello everyone! This is my partner and me diving into the auditory realm with our second iOS app. We're both Apple Music users ourselves, and along the way, we've encountered 2 issues that we aim to tackle with MuseList.
Firstly, playing songs marked as loved on Apple Music isn't as seamless as we'd like. I've discussed this with friends, and some aren't even sure how to go about playing their loved songs. So with MuseList, you can sync and play your loved songs in Apple Music.
Secondly, we've noticed how friends struggle to choose music for activities like running, commuting, or even staying up late. The abundance of options often leads to decision paralysis. So we offers a range of carefully curated preset playlists to suit your mood and activities.
As a nod to Star-Lord's iconic Walkman from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies, MuseList's interface pays tribute to this vintage style. Also, we devoted lots of time into sound effects and interactions, I hope you'll find it useful and amusing.
Upvoted for sheer brilliance! Your product has the flair of the kind of solutions I often encounter on affordhunt.com, a treasure trove for indie hackers like me. It's exciting to see creators bridging gaps in the market with such finesse. I'd love to delve deeper into the backstory of your product. And, how do you foresee its growth trajectory, especially in a competitive space?
@jakeharr Thank you for your appreciation! To be honest, we haven't put too much thought into growth at the moment. Our current focus remains on refining the details and integrating with other music platforms like Spotify.
@gaston_brunschwig Hi, that's weird, MuseList does not require any registration. Could you please drop me an email (to: kiiiidd@duck.com) regarding how this looks like? Thanks!
Your creation, the nostalgic playlist app for Apple Music with its vintage cassette interface, brings a smile to my face. The concept of reliving the past while enjoying curated music is brilliant.
To enhance the user experience, have you thought about adding an option for users to customize their playlists with their favorite vintage cassette covers? It could add a personal touch to the nostalgia.
@rickoliver I'm glad it brings back fond memories of the old days of using cassette player, we ourselves miss that very feeling and designed it that way! The feature you mention is of course under consideration, but it may take some time. Stay tuned!
Ah, nostalgia meets modernity! The vintage cassette interface is such a delightful touch, bringing back those good old memories while using today's technology.
I can see this being the go-to app for anyone who wants a simplified, yet nostalgic musical experience.
Excellent work!
