I can't wait to try Muse S... Has the team conducted any research on the effectiveness of Muse S and sleep quality improvements?

Chris, I am super interested in the evolution of the Muse (its been "on my mind" since I witnessed the demonstration from Tan Le at TED in 2009 or 10). Most specifically I would love to explore integrations with a vision I have for bringing the data realtime into VR for the specific purpose of Authentic Relating and Team Building, but the same application could also be used for Training and Therapy. I use binaural beats ALL THE TIME for meditation and focus and sleep. So, I would love to understand better how the Muse works.

Great to see a new generation Muse launch today! I’ve tested the Muse before but it never seemed like quite the right fit for me for the money. But as someone who has trouble both falling asleep and staying asleep, I’m really interest to try it.

Why microUSB and not USB-C?

I love the approach of a “digital sleeping pill”. I don’t like taking substances and often try to help myself sleep with sounds. Curious to try Muse!

I've had the 1st generation Muse for several years. It is an incredibly helpful device and corresponding app. I have practiced Transcendental Meditation (TM) for quite a long time as well. And when using the two in combination you can actually see evidence that your meditation is working. It's amazing. Because of the Muse I could make changes to what I was doing to see what actually affected my brain waves or not. I get a whole lot more out of TM because of it. If you regularly meditate or want to start, the Muse is a must-have device to get the most of your meditation. And no I don't have any affiliation with Muse at all, I just love it for how much it has helped me.

Great new product to help with getting to sleep and waking up in the middle of the night!

Very exciting to see and experience the newest generation of Muse! I've had my Muse 2 for some time now and had been looking to upgrade to the Muse S, so this has arrived just in time. Can't wait to get my hands on one!

I got the first gen last December and it's totally improved my meditation habit. I don't tend to use the sleep function because I feel a bit weird about constant EMF wrapped around my brain during sleep which is the most receptive time. Have you done any studies on this?

As someone new to meditation, I absolutely love my Muse headband and am always striving for more birds. I am hooked and can't wait to try their latest and greatest especially the digital sleeping pills as I often struggle to catch my Z's!

I can’t wait to try the 2nd gen version of Muse S. I want to track my sleep using EEG monitoring as other non EEG sleep trackers seem to be pretty inaccurate to me. I was a little off by reviews of the 1st gen as people said the connection to the Muse S often got disrupted during the night leading to missing sleep data. Has this been fixed? @chris_aimone

I love the idea of Muse, the problem is I own one. Have 6 times emailed/called for tech support to solve a data problem, Muse has not made any effort outside of 2 emails asking for more info to solve it. So it sits in a pile of junked tech.
