Excellent resource and great product. Thank you!
Richard Reis
@jcruttenden Thank you so much, Jeff! Happy you like it. When can I get your list of recommended books? :)

Love the way this product is being evolved. More and more people around the world look upto to their idols and want to read/consume the same information that they are. This just makes that easy! Do you guys have plans to make this a community project? In the sense that people should be able to recommend books for influencers. Also- most people have libraries at their home. Do they actually read all the books? NO It gives a great signal of being a reader. What is the digital equivalent of that in today's world? How can people show themselves off as much smarter than they are? ;) In other words, can this become my digital library? A library I can share with anyone who asks me, what am I reading or things I have read(i.e library)

@nitprashant Prashant, love the idea of this being some sort of digital bookshelf. Will try to explore ddown that path!

Great. I wish I knew the site before. I read 5 pages a day and write about every day. 5pagesaday dot com Would you guys consider sponsoring my adventure? The current streak is 42 days in a row. I am really enjoying it. My intention is not to hijack your traffic hence why I fudge my link. Cheers ๐Ÿ‘

Hey Product Hunt! ๐Ÿ‘‹ We launched the first version of Most Recommended Books (MRB) a year ago. We goofed up our launch in many ways, so it went horribly (and we almost gave up on the idea). But something interesting happened... The website kept growing. Every 1-2 month(s), MRB's # of visitors and revenue doubled (and still do). So we decided to put more energy into it! The result is what you see now: MRB is the biggest resource of verified book recommendations. - Biggest because we have 4,000+ books. - Verified because we want you to navigate the site with complete trust (so *every* book has a link to the source of the recommendation). - We've also completely redesigned the site to make it cleaner/ easier to use. We're always looking for ways to improve, so we'd love feedback! ๐Ÿ™

I find myself taking some of the most recommended on this list and finding the goodreads ratings and reviews because for me itโ€™s a better signal as to whether Iโ€™d enjoy it and the reviews there are more honest.
Robert Rosenberg
Iโ€™m a big fan of this site! Anytime I canโ€™t decide on a new book to read I get a lot of ideas from it. Nice job on the redesign too!
Anurag Ramdasan
@robdrosenberg Thanks for the kind words Robert. Really glad to see you like what we have put together. We have a lot more in store and will be rolling out soon :)
Richard Reis
@robdrosenberg thank you so much, Robert! Oh yeah you've seen every iteration of the design ๐Ÿ˜… (the good, the bad, and the ugly ๐Ÿ˜‚)
Jarie Bolander

I am a big fan of this site, this site has helped me hunt and read new great books. Forget tracking every great personality on twitter just to find what they read, this website gives you a comprehensive list of the books to read with proof that the person has tweeted or mentioned about it! Great Product! Great Team! Kudos!!
Anurag Ramdasan
@porush_puri Thank you Porush and great to hear that you like what we have built. Do stay tuned for more updates!

Steve Metivier
Awesome site! Great content, very, very nicely presented!
Steve Metivier
Outstanding content, engagingly presented!
Harsh Gelda
The recommendations were awesome. It's just that instead of just linking to the amazon site, you could've put a short summary to describe or give the idea of the book.
Anurag Ramdasan
@harsh_gelda Great point Harsh! Its in the pipeline. We will be coming out with it soon!
Richard Reis
@harsh_gelda Thanks for your feedback, Harsh :) It's always tricky getting the right balance between "not enough information" and "too much information" on each book recommendation. But we are always iterating, experimenting, and looking at the data to see how people react. So this is something we had planned on trying too :)
Dilan Kฤฑlฤฑรง
I love this!
Richard Reis
@dilooska Thanks, Dilan! :)
Olympia Magna
It is an incredible site. Very useful, well done and beautiful. It is possible to notice that behind that idea there is a lot of work and dedication on the part of its creators. The new design is wonderful and when I access the site I don't want to stop browsing its pages. Thanks to the creators for that excellent work. Congratulations.
Anurag Ramdasan

Hi Richard, I'm also developer and struggling with launching my products in some way. I read your story yesterday and actually inspired me. Your MRB I've just checked out is great. Simple enough for us to find a book and not too much information to become overwhelmed. The color of UI is pretty pleasant. I love that color pallete. And some information there such as "as seen as" makes me trust site more. Awesome.
Thomas Johnson
In coming days, I also launch a small app related to learning business. If you and everyone here have time, please follow me and give me some feedbacks. It matters for me. Thanks all
Richard Reis
@thomas_johnson_good Thank you so much for your kind words, Thomas! :)

@richardreeze I find that your site is made by React framework. But React (Single Page App) is not good for Google SEO. But when I searched keyword "most recommended book" on Google, your site showed first. So could you tell me how you goolge-seo it? I also guess you are using NextJs. Is that correct? Thanks so much
